How does your game fit the theme?
You are a gelatinous cube joined with an adventurer, using the cube's absorption powers and the adventurer's grappling hook. And a lot of the mechanics of the game were inspired by joints also: the rope mechanic is basically joining you with the walls, the main character itself is a bunch of spring joints that move together, and the ammo of your propulsion are the bones of the enemies that joined you. One last thing: aim and movement are joined together as a mechanic, giving an extra degree of difficulty.

The presentation on this game is great, and I loved the opening story. Also, can't go wrong with a gelatinous cube. When you submitted this to me, you said the controls are hard on purpose, so maybe you can ignore this feedback, but I feel that tying the aiming to the movement buttons makes things difficult in an unfun way. Having said that, once you got the hang of it, swing around over lava was a lot of fun. Excited to see where this one goes.

I really like the art and how wobbly and soft the slime feels!
Controls were a bit hard to get used to, I would have prefered aiming with the mouse and some more momentum when pulling yourself in.
Still, very cool game overall.

A very fun idea, looks great, too!

Unfortunately this is not really playable with a laptop and trackpad. I tried to give it my best go and I like the idea of it, I just wasn't able to experience much of it.

I love the concept so much, controlling a slime with a grapple gun is a unique idea but I wish we could aim with a mouse. I still loved this game so much. Great job

Nice implementation of the softbody for the cube, the grappling mechanic  is a bit tricky to use it would probably be easier to aim with the mouse. I loved the art style in the introduction sequence!

I love how the cube moves, but this could be so improved if the grappling hook aim was done with the mouse instead of with the same keys that you move with. But getting into those big dramatic swings and sloshing around on the ground feels really good, and you nailed the "joined together" theme!

Cool game, great presentation. Really liked swinging from the ceiling!

Nice physics and overall presentation! Looks very cute. Also, interesting take on the game theme. I would just probably put the aiming to be with the mouse, but other than that, very beautiful entry !

Really interesting concept! I found the grappling and movement mechanics very very challenging, I was not able to get very far unfortunately. I think combining the aiming with the movement added a bit of unnecessary difficulty that felt more frustrating than challenging. I loved the art and the presentation was very nice. The cinematic story beginning was very pretty and comedic!

Perfect game all around

Definitely an interesting concept with great execution, although somewhat frustrating to control. I think it would have made more sense to aim via the mouse as opposed to the movement keys as it makes grappling far less smooth. Otherwise, the physics allowed for interesting gameplay and overall it was pretty good!

An interesting and fun idea, though I feel perhaps it's held back a bit by the controls,  I think aiming with the mouse would help the feel considerably and perhaps having an easier starting section or area that people can practice in before being thrown straight into it all, when the swinging works it feels quite good though and a slime wielding a grapple hook is just a hilarious concept.

Good concept and presentation. Liking the rope and jelly physics. Gelatinous cube with a gun is a fun concept. I found the controls difficult to use because moving and aiming are using the same keys. The game is pretty unforgiving because the first part of the levels are covered with spikes, giving no safe place to learn controls. After learning them, it felt great swinging over pits and dodging obstacles.

The mechanics were super cool! I really liked that when you ate a guy, his skeleton would float around inside you. I found the controls a bit difficult to  manuever- I think being able to use the mouse to aim would help alot

cool! difficult!

Of course someone had to make a shopper/ropper in this jam:P Very nice execution for a such a short time, though on my computer it was very jaggy, and I think I have a rather decent PC.

Really cool, and honestly pretty funny, mechanic to base around and I loved the overall feel of the environment! The jelly physics really was the topping on all of it hahah

The one issue I had was even after playing for a bit, I never really got a hold of the controls. Using a mouse button but not actually using mouse movement felt very confusing for me. Even once I got over that things were a little rough. That said, I think you could totally carry this game on post-jam and put out a super radical mid-length game release!

Great job :)

I think the look of the game is really strong but the controls definitely could be tighter. Even if it was in the name of the theme I think tying movement and the grapple together, at least in its current state makes the game tremendously frustrating to control. Not having the grapple aim be on something quick and snappy to control like the actual mouse movement as well makes split second adjustments very hard to make.

Very fun idea! i think the grapple is hard to control though...
