The pixel art presentation is really well done and although the controls are a bit messy, the gameplay is energetic and interesting. Very good game!

How does your game fit the theme?
You are a gelatinous cube joined with an adventurer, using the cube's absorption powers and the adventurer's grappling hook. And a lot of the mechanics of the game were inspired by joints also: the rope mechanic is basically joining you with the walls, the main character itself is a bunch of spring joints that move together, and the ammo of your propulsion are the bones of the enemies that joined you. One last thing: aim and movement are joined together as a mechanic, giving an extra degree of difficulty.

Great visuals and movement feels very nice but I would like it even more if aiming was with the cursor. Very good game overall!
Very fun slime and grappling hook mechanics. Challenging and overall an awesome game : )
This is very difficult and the powerup totems aren't very descriptive.
Good points:
Nice idea
Wonderful work with physics
Great visuals, simple, but readable
Points of improvement:
Stability, of cource)
Physics bugs
Leveldesign. Some of the map parts feels absolutely unfair, when you cannot do anything, if you missed once.
Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you with the points of improvement. Believe it or not, the level was even harder, luckily my girlfriend tried it a couple minutes before submission and made me fix the most troublesome parts. Its really challenging to balance a game that you have been practising for hours and hours haha
Thats normal) On my first jam I made a level for our platformer, the, players divided by two categories: ones, who wasn't able to finish, and others, who found an hole in wall and skipped nearly half of the game!) It's very important to give prototype on playtest to absolutely not involved people, that brings really fresh look)
Nice game! I think the controls could use some improvement and the game also froze on me after a bit. It was still fun though.
Great game, even greater visuals! The mechanics are well crafted, it is funny yet engaging to play :D Great job :)
Godd art work, but I had some difficulties to handle the movements control
Thanks!! the art for the "intro" is from @bordercoli, she does truly amazing things!
The blob's rolling animation is really chunky and has a good feel, and I'm in for any game where you swing on a grappling hook (which has made this Jam a blast for me)
Reminds me of the classics I would find on coolmathgames, very good and job well done.
The good:
Controls are fun if you figure them out and the visuals are pleasing. Also eating people with a cube and not slime. I think gelatine cubes are not getting enough attention compared to the slime.
The bad:
The game breaks if you exceed some ludicrious speed, speedrunning potential ruined :< but actually there are some problems with the collision when pulling yourself with the hook.
Other than that a very solid entry, though I'm very disappointed that you're not EATING the guy with the grappling hook but just pick it up.
