Oh neat, a fellow game about being tethered to something trying to kill you! (Albeit a very different take on the idea)
The horror-y atmosphere of this is pretty cool, and I like how the chain color/thickness and sound design is all you have to go off of to judge the proximity and direction of the enemy. Definitely adds quite a bit of tension when you see it start flashing. The little death/victory cutscenes are a nice touch too!
Game is a classic maze game with twist. Well done, a little to short. It's even scary a little xD I loved the animations. There is bug that made me replay half of the levels: if you die and press space you will be in main menu (for some reason exit is default instead of restart after death). When you do this - you cannot enter levels anymore. When you restart the browser you lost your saves.
Overall I liked this game :) You could make subtitles a little bigger. First time I thought that was a texture
Perhaps the most interesting way to do a maze I've seen! I wish there was a little more communication about the ability of the monster, though I suppose that's probably intentional to heighten the horror aspect! Fun either way!
Amazing sound design and I love the art style. Super fun and interesting concept. Kept me wanting to finish each level.
The animations and presentation are actually sick and no lie I was actually scared the first few levels when I didn't get why he was chasing me. I love it so much.
I don't know if you knew already but you can just sorta push past the statue and go straight to the ending in the last two levels.
Solid game mechanic and sound design makes it a lot more tense.
