We've got multiple classic games joined together; as well as the core game play is about blocks being joined together and opens doors, and when they disconnect, doors close and you need to be on the right side of them.

Not entirely sure how it fits the theme as nothing seems joined together, the ridiculously high sensitivity makes the game annoyingly difficult to play and takes away all sense of fun from the game. I didn't understand the game at all like is retrocop like Pac mans revenge because killing angry silent ghosts without context is weird. I only realised after raging and deleting the game that the Tetris minimap thing was creating rooms for the ghosts but again with no context this made no sense what so ever. I thought from looking at the games screenshots and name it would be a really good game but I was really let down because it was the exact opposite.

Some feedback to take into consideration:

A tutorial stage would be great to explain what's going to happen eg. Do different colour enemies do different thing, is there a way to detect enemies (like a uav for your minimap to show red dots as enemies), the gun mechanics is there a reload function, can you aim down sights, how to fire etc.

Maybe have a black screen at the start giving the player a description of what's happening eg. "you the player have been teleported into a retro arcade game after a freak accident hit a local arcadia, you must locate your want through the waves of enemy ghosts and find your way out of the game" or something like that to give the game context.

The game 100% definitely needs the sensitivity turned way down, as the character is to uncontrollable. A simple fix would be to add a slider to the game in the options menu  so you can manually increase and decrease the sensitivity to suit your play style.

Conclusion:

Overall for a game jam game the graphics are very appealing, some tweaks to the game play mechanics would make the game a lot more fun but it runs so thats a good thing.  I'd definitely say if you have money time you could flesh the game out to its fullest and I'd love to play it again when it happens. My rating for how fun the game was would probably only be 2 out of 5 stars until some changes are made to the gameplay. The originality of the game is definitely 4/5 out of 5 stars as I personally haven't seen a concept like this before. The presentation is also quite good so id say maybe 3/4 out of 5 stars.  Hopefully see a slightly tweaked and updated version of the game on steam soon!

I first wondered how it fits the theme, but after sometimes it all make sense! Cool idea. Sorry about the rotation speed though, could have more fun if it isn't so sensitive.

Nice game

Pretty fun concept! I like the music and the mood it set but unfortunately the web build was too hard to control with the mouse sensitivity and the frame rate. The art style was intense in the best kinda way! and the tetris style level design was beautiful! Great work!

This is a really interesting idea! I included it in my GMTK compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Damn, this is really pretty. I wish I could deal with the mouse sensitivity. Either I’m bad, or the enemies should be rebalanced, because I can’t survive more than 40 seconds.

It is REALLY pretty though so good job on that.

Art and music fit together really well. Pretty fun to play. Looking forward to a lower-sensitivity build. Good job!

Nice game.

1, The mouse sensitivity is to strong.

2, Sometimes, the ghosts won't get hit by the gun.

3, There are too many ghosts spawning at once.

Besides these, nice game.

I would be very happy if you would play my game.

I really like the Tetris map building, it's a clever mashup :)

Just wish the mouse sensitivity could be lower or adjusted

I love the modified Tetris theme playing through out the game. Mouse was a bit too sensitive, but it was still fun to play!

Really awesome game concept! Just could use a bit more polish, my mouse sensitivity was too high, and the gun could use some impact effects. Would be really cool to finish this after the gamejam!

Did you... did you just fuse Tetris and Pacman into a first person shooter? Genius.

The only problem I have is that we get ejected from a room even if some pieces of it stays after a line deletion. But great game !

Tetris but you are in the bricks, and you have a gun 10/10. But in all seriousness, it's a pretty cool game.  And I love the aesthetics :)

Nicely done with good idea joining multiple genres and its 3D congratulations! I notice that sensitivity is too high and i would suggest adding option to allow players change the sensitivity.

Overall i like your game and atmosphere is just great :-)

That is a great mashup of genres! I however did not manage to live long enough to see Tetris lines disappear. Do they disappear? :)

Yeah! And it's a big part of the game too; so you should try and experience it. =)

Mouse sensitivity was a little too high on macOS. Maybe, I'll give it another go when I'll get to a PC with a proper mouse.

Submitted

liked the concept and art, however it was hard to aim because of the high sensitivity

Certainly interesting, and the artstyle is really good, but i think the player should have to place the tetris pieces. Also, mouse sensitivity is way up.

Looks great, sounds great and after lowering the precision setting on my mouse it was great to play to! A lot of fun to play :D

pretty cool game, only problem, I'm a low sense player so I got dizzy very fast.

I really enjoyed the "carriage" full of ennemies coming around your room. I felt myself like a poor marin aboard a spacecraft attack by riders.
