I love the concept and execution. Good art and sounds. Excellent poetry! Very clever mechanic. Maybe would be better with my spouse playing on the arrow keys? …or maybe that would have made my marriage “tepid and unpleasant.”

It made me laugh when it said divorce is recommended lol. I think it is a creative game and has a good humorous presentation. I'll be honesty, I quickly resorted to just spamming the keys... I kept getting mixed up. It would be interesting to try with a second player, but I had none around.

A lovely short game! Playing it alone is tough (I kept expecting the arrow keys to control the character on the right side, and would often get stuck on walls), but is, indeed, rewarding. There is not much depth, it seems, in the gift system (not that it's needed), but its broadening would encourage replay as much as the uncontrollable human urge to see every caption based on the end score.
As a final note: the theming is supreme. The intro sets the mood perfectly, and the varied sources of power-ups are a nice touch.
