Aaahhaa!!! The mechanics of the game are so good! It's a new concept. 👏🏻 a superb entry for the jam. ~Please check mine when have time :)

Nice game mechanic. Shooting platforms that join together is something I haven't seen before. But the shooting controls were a bit tough to me (even with the slow mo) as I had to fire each platform in different trajectories. Maybe an indicator to what path the platform will follow would make it better.

And the movement controls were a bit frustrating as the character rolls off. Maybe don't let him rotate.

The graphics were excellent. I loved how everything had a beautiful glow. Very well polished game. Good job.

Hey, thanks for playing! Glad you liked the graphics :D

An indicator for the projectiles and fixing the slidy movement were both in my to-do list but sadly time ran out :( I'll fix these things and a few more and will release a post jam version soon. Might add some sound too :P

Excellent visuals - the flickering stars was a nice touch! Shame you didn't get around to adding sound.
It took me a while to figure out I was supposed to be skeet shooting my own platforms, but once I did this was really fun! The movement speed was a bit too fast for how small the platforms are though.
Would love to see this one fleshed out post jam!

I'm glad you liked the visuals :D

I'm already working on a post jam version where I'll complete all the remaining parts of the game including fine-tuning the player's movement and adding some sounds (while preserving the title of the game :P)

the Art and the backgrounds are beautiful! the mechanic is a neat idea, but could use some fleshing out(i found myself spam clicking and abusing the slight pause it gave you), but overall still tons of fun. just shorten the pause a little! this is a fantastic game!

Developer

I'm glad that you liked it :D

Also, that pause is not actually a pause. As soon as you press the LMB, time is slowed down so that you can aim better. As soon as you release the LMB, time gets back to normal. I should have explained it in game. It's a shame that I couldn't as I ran out  of time :(

I'll also prevent the spam clicking bonus from happening in the post jam version :P

Ah, that makes a bit more sense, the games still wonderfully fun, and i cant wait for more!

Your visuals are stunning! I'm not a fan of the gameplay though, that little lag that happens every block shot is really jarring and gave me such a bad headache I stopped at lvl 3. But until that point the game was really easy to cheese by spamming blocks, so I didn't feel very challenged either. Good job working around sound design by making everything intentionally silent!

Developer

That little lag is not lag. As soon as you press the LMB, time is slowed down so that you can aim better. As soon as you release the LMB, time gets back to normal. I should have explained this in game. Time was running out and somehow I forgot that and many other to-dos, for example, sound, etc. :P

Hi, I tried to checkout your game but I can't because I'm on a Mac.  Consider making an html build too next time.  The screenshots look cool!

Developer

Hey, I was about to do so but sadly I ran out of time :(

What an awesome and neat mechanic! Really clever idea you had! Timing those shots was fun and interesting. I also liked having to line up platforms and take some down with the ninja star in order to kill the bats. The small amount of levels here are super interesting and I'd love to see this expanded. Maybe into a not-silent platformer with no platforms.

I also really like the artstyle of the game.

My only issue is with movement. The guy is so slidy, feels unwieldly to control. I never lost a stage, but it was tense when I was trying to just balance myself on a platform.

Super good job!

Developer

Hey, thanks a lot! I'll surely publish a post jam version with a few sound effects but no music in order to preserve the title of the game :P Fixing the slidy movement was in my to-do list but then I ran out of time :(

Thanks a lot :)

This is a super cool mechanic! The game looks very polished. Very good job, especially considering the time limitations of this Jam!

Hey! Thanks a lot. But, I just found out that there's a silly bug in the game which affects the last level :(
