Nice job! I loved the track building mechanic and the "out of control" on this one. Well done! :D

Very nice game I like the risk vs reward nature. I would like it if the amount of time a train had in ghost mode was better communicated. Also when in the tutorial It's pretty easy for a new player to click on the dialog box and accidentally start building.

I agree! Hard to test everything in a 48 hour period. But In a future update there are plenty of changes to make! Thanks for the feedback!

Really fun and addictive. I loved being really greedy and having to stop the trains really fast but also make a lot of money. The game offered a lot of strategies such as that one and it definitely got out of control! The art was probably the only part of the game letting it down a bit but that's only because the rest was so amazing! Overall the game was very creative, original and enjoyable to play, great job!

Developer(+2)

For the art we were kinda going for a subway map vibe, but im glad you enjoyed it!

By the art I mean more how smooth and polished it was, not the art itself if you understand what I mean. Some of the curves had slightly jagged edges which looked a bit unprofessional but I liked the style itself.

this has gotten more addictive as I play.  Will continue to challenge myself with more track. Thanks

Really fun and addictive :)

Very cool to see a game like this in the jam

Interesting idea, I initially thought you were supposed to cross the train paths for the same train line to make a station hahaha. Well done!

Truly a fun game! I saw Mark play this on stream and it looked amazing. I'm happy to say it is great fun. I love the risk vs reward system the game creates. You should continue working on it, I could see more levels with obstacles to avoid that you could pay to destroy or rivers you have to build across or city areas where you get more people but it creates a bottle neck. I can't wait to see what you do with this. Good luck with the Jam!

Developer(+1)

I like your ideas! I wasnt planning on doing much after the jam but now everyone seems to suggest i expand on it, so I might have to do that once I have time!

Submitted(+1)

That's the best part of game jams, you can spitball an idea and see if it's good enough to continue putting effort into

Submitted(+2)

This is a very cool risk vs reward idea! You should keep developing this idea.  Congrats on submitting a cool train puzzle game to the jam.  Please check out my web browser game when you can :D

Really unique. I loved it.

Great game! I think the idea is really unique and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the game.

Great idea and very well executed! This game can and should be improved upon! I got 1610 as my best score!

Somehow I missed that intersections were what made money in the tutorial, so sat watching totally safe and pointless trains for a while. Once it clicked though, it was quite a lot of fun.

It'd be interesting to have incentives to send tracks to particular places to slightly constrain the  player's options. Overall though, good job!

The game self-balances in a really natural way (which is the sign of a good game idea, if you ask me). And the feeling of hecticness when you're trying to desperately stop everything from colliding is definitely out of control! What a rush!

Developer

Thanks! Thats definitely the vibe I was going for. Things may get out of control but it may or may not be the players fault! haha

I like the way this one challenges you in lots of different ways - the physical dexterity of clicking the trains quickly if they're all about to collide, the ability to actually look at all the rails and see where collisions will occur, and the strategy of thinking about where to place the rails to maximise stations while minimising collisions.

Developer

Thanks so much! We definitely wanted to include alot of strategy while also allowing things to get out of control quickly.

great idea snd fun to play

I really liked this game - really cool how you are allowed to free-form pick wherever the tracks go.

Submitted(+2)

I like how in this game the player creates their own problems, so the intensity goes up naturally

I really enjoyed this game! I loved creating insane tracks.
