The bug in the collision and the fact that falling will teleport you to the beginning and have to read all over again makes the journey more emotional. Nice game, nice story :)

Developer

Thank you. I was worried that might have been a problem

The collision was a little broken, I kept getting stuck in objects. But the art was really appealing and the story well told.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. I noticed the collision but it was a too late to fix it :(

That is a experience.

reminded me of futuristic, apocalyptic setting, what I really like.

I was thinking that with a bit of polish and adjustments this could be turned into a beautiful visual novel like game.

Enjoyed the story, well made :)

very interesting idea based on the theme, a few duplicate sentences could be removed like "we studied them closely etc" and "it scared us, we thought" and some of the text was too long so i had to move back sometimes to read a whole paragraph but other than that is was interesting to play. Maybe after the jam you could add in some bg music just some humming or something to fill in the gaps while you play? Overall good job!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah because I was struggling for ideas, I didn't really have time to create audio or play test that much. I was considering actually recording me saying the text instead of it being on the screen but I didn't have enough time :(

I get ya! my friend did one too as a duo with a friend and even they were scrambling so to be solo coding and designing is tough work let alone adding bits after >.< It was a really interesting storyline though be proud!
