The game isn't bad although it doesn't match the theme at all. The constant same footstep.wav is a bit annoying to hear.

Surprisingly nice puzzle game with simple mechanics. Good job.

You really need to pay attention to the order you do moves.  In that respect, out games are quite similar.

Theming issues aside, this is an amazing example of the power of game design. The puzzle design and story telling really dragged me in and kept me playing for a long time. Really impressive, great job!

Very fun and simple game, reminds me a lot of Castle Demonstone from a previous GMTK Game Jam, which is a very good thing as I felt it needed more levels!

Cool mechanics and level design. It would be nice if the actions were a little faster (especially since an error results in a room reset) but otherwise pretty well made.

Nice general feel of the game, but i had to double tap the interaction key to do things. might be a bug you want to look into? Great game otherwise!

Level design really elevates this!

The game is nice and fun, and the puzzles are interesting! Very nice game and concept!

I won't repeat what was said about the theme, other then that the game is honestly fun, interesting and includes good levels.

Good level design and good storytelling! I liked it.

Really cool! The design and gameplay are outstanding. Good job!

Really enjoyed this, reminds me of the GO series of mobile puzzle games. As others have said, it doesn’t really fit the theme, but it’s still super fun.

Also…… this was made in RPGMaker?? I didn’t even consider that RPGMaker could handle games like this, but I guess it makes sense. Might be worth looking into a more general game engine (I’m a fan of Godot) for future projects - you’re clearly a pretty good designer even within such a limited engine!

seems like the start of a great idea but I can't say it fits the theme. well done nontheless!

great game but Doesn't fit the Jam theme

Finally an interesting submission to play! A lot of games did gave players no control literally and it sucked to play them. Your game is interesting, I love puzzles, finished several levels. But the game lacks the theme, however. I did not at any moment felt out of control and the story "out of control" moment seems a bit fishy.

The puzzle aspect is very nice! I enjoyed it. Here's my game https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/697413 tell me what you think :)

Developer

No problem, I'll check your game later :)

I am not the puzzle game type of guy. I have played portal 2 and that's pretty much it. But game overall good. I think it doesn't fit the out of control theme as much but I enjoyed playing it and that's important. Good work!

This game is very challenging. By the way, the BGM is really good!

really fun puzzles, i enjoyed it a lot! the slow walking speed did make it frustrating, especially during puzzles where you have to backtrack or after you die and want to get right back to the solution

Developer

I'll fix the slow walking issue after this jam. Thanks for your feedback! :)
