Very cool art in this game! I like your little animal world. I'm a big fan of noodles so this was interesting hehe. After the jam you can polish it some more with a tutorial level for the controls. Great job making this in only 48hours! Please check out my entry if you have time. Good day~
This is a nice time / resource management game with a good use of the theme. It took some time to geht use to the controls, especially the scoop (I thought the scoop can interact directly with the soup). So, a small tutorial would be helpful. But, however this is a very nice entry!
By the way, I know this jam is not about art but the style of the game great!!
I don't know if it's because I'm a big ramen fan or because I just really enjoy resource management games, but I found this game weirdly addictive. Controls took a little getting used to, but I was pretty comfortable with them by my third attempt.
I am now very invested in the life of this one-armed bear who tries to run a decent ramen stall in a not-so-far off dystopia where both food and electricity are in extremely short supply. He tries his best to give these starving, overworked animals something to eat, but his efforts to survive the incredibly risky business of small restaurants shall always end in vain. Truly an unsung hero.
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you got into it, definitely a barrier of entry with the learning curve. One day it'd be nice to expand on the virtuous efforts of our faceless, one-pawed hero. He's a good guy in a bad world, for sure.
Reminded me of my favourite ramen shop!
I like the physical aspect of grabbing the electrical plugs, having a hand moving a wire around made it feel more sensory.
I would have loved to have some audio to go with the game (like generic restuarant sounds) but otherwise this is a pretty cool game! Good job!

Hey, we made a GMTK game too. Check it out!
Thanks, yeah was a shame we couldn't get any audio in. Cheers for taking a look.
Checked out your game; looks fantastic!
I loooove the art! I think the concept is great, but a bit difficult to play.
Looks great but I agree with the others, a tutorial is much needed especially because of the amount of steps needed to make a bowl of noodles. The concept of having one plug, one topping is well implemented though.
Thanks for checking it out!
Quite a few have pointed out that a brief tutorial would be helpful, but I did find the concept of electricity management a nice welcomed layer of mechanic and the art is definitely very gorgeous. For a time sensitive game though I think it would be a bit more comfortable if everything was laid out in one screen or scrolling left and right through the room was a bit faster.
Thanks very much for playing and taking the time to comment- really glad you liked the main mechanic!
I like it - the design looks great, it hits the premise for real and it's an interesting take on the whole cooking genre of video games and stuff. As someone else has already said tho it needs to be made a bit more clear how everything works, the plugs don't connect sometimes and it occasionally gets kind of confusing but that's at least half a me not being good at video games thing lol, good meme
Thanks, really glad you liked it! Really wish we had more time at the end to put some explanations / pointers in, especially on how plugs work differently to other equipment, it's not clear. Thanks for checking it out!
Looks visually amazing but it is not very intuitive. Needs much more in place to teach the player how to use the systems. Love the idea of managing the plugs but it felt detracting due to how confusing the game was in general. LONG bear arm!
Thanks for giving it a go! We ran out of time to add some instructional content, and general consensus seems to be the separation between click-dragging and just clicking is confusing, which we thought would probably be the case without a tutorial. But hey, can't fit everything in 48hrs! Thanks again!
Very pretty game! Cool concept too. But a tutorial would have really helped out a great deal. All the best though keep jamming! :D
Thanks for playing! Yeah, if only there was more time! :)
Difficult, but the concept is fun~
As a side note: a bit cheaty but you can hang up the ladle when it still has broth. Though not sure that really gains you anything in the long run
Thanks for playing! Yep, you sure can! It's usually a good idea to fill up both bowls and also leave the ladel full whenever the broth's hot enough, so that you've got one one ready to go! It could be removed, but we think it's a nice "hidden" feature :)
Nice idea! probably works well if you aren't an idiot like me and figure out what to do ahahaha. (I did find I couldnt drop the bowl) Anyway love the look and feel of it well done.
Thanks! Yeah, plugs are click and drag, but everything else is click to pick up, and click (on a relevant spot) to interact/release - so plates go on two little mats in front of the customers. That's definitely something that could be improved - thanks for checking it out! :D
