Fun little casual game. Cute art!

Nice work. This is a really clean and well executed entry. Everything felt cohesive from the visuals to the sound, and it all fit the tiny world theme well. Controls were simple but worked great, and the dash mechanic was a nice touch. I liked the sound effects, especially the squishy ones.. very effective and added a lot. Could be good to make it more obvious you need to eat the pellets, but once I figured that out it was fine. Gets pretty tough after a while but definitely addictive. A solid project and very polished for a jam game.

Thanks for playing Tim, and for your thoughtful feedback!

Decided to go with a color palette from colorhunt.co this time for the visuals and I'm glad I did. I'm not an artist by any shot, so having something pre-curated was helpful. I was lucky to find open license audio assets that matched the art style and theme of the game.

You're absolutely right about the salience of the pellets. The "instructions" "eat-me" and "avoid-me" were shown on the main menu, but only briefly if the user clicked play game straight away. Could have been a visual indicator at game start to show it, since the initial pellets were statically spawned.

Thank you for your kind words!

Very fun! Simple but addictive! I sometimes found it hard to eat the pellets instead of colliding with them, and when I pressed replay my screen turned red for around 20 seconds while I was playing. Really cool interpretation of the theme!

Developer

Thank you for playing Falcon! Ah the instructions about eating the pellets were only shown on the main menu, but it wasn't the best place for it on hindsight! I wasnt able to replicate the replay red screen bug, hopefully it was a once off error with the webbuild!

Nice concept! I really like the controls—everything looks and feels very consistent. The dash mechanic is pretty cool too. Maybe it could be expanded a bit with combos or something like that, just as an idea. Overall, a lovely project!

Developer

Thank you for playing Martin! The goal was to submit a simple but complete game this jam. But you're exactly right, I had to resist the urge to add in mechanics and break the promise I set to myself many times :D

A well-polished title. Visually everything feels cohesive, and it definitely fits the "Tiny World" theme. Congratulations on finishing the game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing chimerian! Yes the goal was to submit a simple but complete game, so I think we've achieved what we set out to do!

Polished, nice theme and easy to pick up and play but gets difficult around 150 points.

Great work!

Developer

Thank you for playing Chuske, and for lasting till 150 points!
I think thats probably when the viruses dash at high speeds and spawn rates, so its a great level to reach already!

Lovely game. Minimalist but can be addictive!

Developer

Thanks for playing Fox! Yes the goal was to make something that can be published in a day! Glad you liked the Minimalist vibes!

Liked the game simplicity like a mobile game style with only tapping as the controls.

Developer

Thank you for playing Obzi! Yes, if possible I always try to make my games playable on mobile :D

A very tiny world indeed!

Very simple concept and a perfectly concise explanation. (It wasn't immediately obvious to me that the collectables/dash pellets needed to be eaten rather than just collided with, but I figured it out quickly enough.)

There's not a lot to say about this one, it feels like it did everything it set out to do.

Thank you for playing Satinel! Wow 250 is quite high!
Decided to join this jam towards the tail end and wanted something that ticked most boxes without needing a lot of time, so your sentiment is spot-on!

Very very squishy sounds. For sound design, perfect. Very yucky, squishy and jelly 10/10

I thought the look and sound of this game was good, but it would not let me press play at the start, i refreshed it  a few times and tried it in full screen,  windowed, and tried to use the keyboard to press play, and nothing worked for me unfortunately  i hope its something on my end and not the projects side because it looks like a cool idea!

Developer

Hi Reunited! Thanks so much for this!!!
I quickly realised the problem after your comment, we swapped out the game logo just before submission and it was blocking mouse inputs,

Fixed a critical bug because of your feedback! We hope that you can try our very simple submission again :D

A very big thank you!
