Cute and relaxing. Took me awhile to work out I had to find a dot with the magniying glass and then use the camera to see what it was and that I needed to get the bug centered and in focus. Once I knew what to do it was fun. Reminded me a bit of "Alba A Wildlife Adventure". Excellent.

Thanks for some great ideas! There were quite a few things I wanted to try that didn't make it into the final game. This was my first jam and I underestimated how long I'd take to get the basics up and running and didn't want to add new features too last minute and leave the game either buggy, or not fun.
Thanks for your comments. I agree totally that the inability to reach some viruses is the worst part, plus also lucky RNG spawning lots of viruses close together, making for an easy time when that happens.
Like with so many other games, features got dropped due to the time constraints. After the jam is over, I would love to add a speed boost mechanic for the player with a limited number of uses per wave and a minimum gap between consecutive spawns.
What an amazing amount you got done in 10 days, you really did well.
My biggest suggestion would be to tweak the car handling to be a little more forgiving, at the moment as soon as you are a little out of shape it is hard to recover and avoid ending up sideways.
I also found on Web GL that the scaling was too big.
This looks fantastic and love the tortoise idea (I love tortoises and had a pet one in the past), only problem is I couldn't work out the first minigame for ages then when I worked it out I had run out of time to play any further. Shame as looks like you had really put a lot into the game. I'll try and revisit after the jam.
I'm a first time game jam entrant and what I've learned in this jam is that as there so many games it is better to err on the side of creating a game that is easy to grasp and play quickly as often people only have 5 or 10 minutes for each jam game.
Fantastic start to a racing game, which is not easy to do in a few days.
If you aren't going to simulate a Scalextric car on tracks, then really help a lot if the players can see the wheels steer to give you feedback. Also, at the moment, the steering is very hard, and I think this is because the car slows very dramatically as soon as you release the W key. Would be easier to get into the game and control your cornering speed if the car slowed less and needed to press S slow quickly (ie brake).
For the time you had this is really great work!
Fantastic start but sounds like you ran out of time to add more to it. I think sound would be the top priority, be also interesting if the infection could move around rather than just sitting, increasing inflammation. At the moment the game is rather linear and lacks some dynamism.
Great work for the limited time you had.
Great prototype of a fun game idea and great. Plays really well and has nice graphics.
The "How to Play" and the UI could both do with a bit of polish if you make this into a full game, in particular, the "How to Play" didn't really mention the economy. I also couldn't work out how to defeat the big asteroid that suddenly appears.
This shows a lot of promise!
Great little village building game. How did you make this in 10 days? I love the voice-over tutorial.
Ideas to improve:
- Speed up woodcutting, it took forever and made it hard to build a village.
- Maybe scroll map with mouse near the edge of the screen or WASD keys, rather than just mouse drag.
Brilliant work.
Cool and unique. Simple concept but challenging. Love the funky terrain texture. I enjoyed playing this. Good work. Found could do interesting things like bounce some food off other food into the spheres.
I struggled a bit with the controls, particularly the rotation with Q & E keys, found it hard at times to get the player in position to shoot and looking the right way. Would prefer to just rotate view with the mouse and have gun pointing the same way as the camera, think that would be easier.
Interesting choice of theme, first nanobot one I've come across, great to have something different. I love the models you used and eery music and sound effects. Great choice of movement mechanics, floating around in a nanoworld.
Cool, how you have the different enemy types each with different attacks and things you need to do to defeat the.
Really enjoyed this thanks.
A few tweaks is aiming is hard, so maybe have either smaller bullet gfx or a crosshair, as I was never quite sure where I was aiming towards.
Also, if you get near the edge walls you can find the camera the other side the wall meaning you cant see your ship until you move further away.
Fantastic effort.
The artwork, game design and concept are truly brilliant. Really creepy horror feel. Only had a quick go on the easy version and even on that the candle burn speed is challenging. I really wanted to explore more but the candle really stopped me getting very far on a quick play. Will definitely come back to this to play more as soon as I have time.
I agree with pretty much all christh's comments, so won't repeat what he said.
For a 10 day jam, this is an immense achievement, and brilliant concept, hope you get time to keep developing it, you have amazing talent.
