Pretty cool game. I like how the perspective shifts, it especially looks good when there are planets in view.

I defeated a bunch of enemies then stupidly flew into an asteroid haha

Great graphics and nice music, well done!

I really like the perspective change in the game, other than that I think even for the first stage you could've started a bit faster ;) Good submission

This game is amazing! The mechanics are well done, and the visuals are very nice. It provides a intense and quick-paced experience that I really enjoyed. Excellent Work!

I really like the 3d immersive look and feel of the gameplay as well as the combat and the collectibles, I think you did a nice job on this one!

The warp effect is really good. The setup is the kind of 'indomitable human spirit' story I like. I had a good time playing it overall. Good job!

Thanks!

I reached my new Homeland yay !
It was fun, I really liked the level design, it reminds me a bit of the Sonic chaos emerald bonus levels.
As csf said, it quickly becomes hard / impossible to get all pickups. Also on the last level it also becomes almost impossible to avoid every ennemies shot, but it's mostly game design adjustment, hard to get the time for that in a game jam

Loved the game, and it was very fun to play. Here are some things that I've noticed, and i hope it helps:

I've noticed that you had the controls on the site but unless i did miss something in-game, there's no tips about that there. I'd consider always having either a text or a image for player reference.

For the pickups, sometimes it's hard to line up for them, and i think it was at level one that there are three so close to eachother that i don't think you can get them all one after the other? Maybe you could adjust the speed, or the yellow pickups spacing so that if you do it right you can get them all. In example, having to pick between in example a shield or health pickup is a good example of a use case for this, but for a currency or score pickup, if they are too close and you are forced to only pick part of it, it can feel sort of punishing to the player. I can definitely see that you intended for them to be picked all up, as they formed sort of a snake shape, but the speed (or spacing between them) was a bit too much.

One last thing, If there is please call me out because i didn't see it: a "quit game" button, so i had to alt-f4.

By the way, when you compile a game with Unity, the game's folder will have a GameName_Data folder and a GameName_BurstDebugInformation, this last one you can delete it, or open the zipped folder and remove it in there.

Having said that, it is a very fun game, great job! The loop effect was really nice and the controls felt smooth.
Cheers ;)

Thanks for playing and appreciate the feedback. No there wasn't a quit game option, I have all the functions for a game menu including that but left them out when I was initially aiming for webGL build only. Should have remembered that when I decided to make the other builds.

Nice game, It was kinda hard to "aim" at upgardes with the ship in the beginning, not when shooting. The feel when you swoop through hyperspace is great, good job!

I can't get enough of the loop effect! lol

Really enjoyed it a lot. I even tried to impersonate Chewbacca hahaha. Excellent submission.

Thanks for the streaming and playing! Loved watching as others go through things I didn't think of as a developer.

I got to play a little before the jam even ended. I really liked it. It's a little hard to line up the movement with the tubular movement, and that's part of the fun challenge. Like an, idiot, my first round, I didn't realize I was suppose to be firing... I just kept dodging bullets forever. It's so much easier when I fight back! It's some great UI and effecs!

I Win!!

Little slow to begin win, but was loving it when it ramped up in pace!

But can I have a new, new home planet please. to much water on this one :P. Come on everyone, pack up, we're off in search again! :)

Really fun game that takes you through the stars. I don't know how you made space warp in that tubular way, but that was very cool. Didn't work too well in the browser (kinda like my game), but downloading it was smooth as silk. Thanks for sharing this!

Nice job bud, I played it and gave my feedback while playing if you want to see it you can check it out here anytime.

The tunnel disappeared for me at stage 3 also. There’s nothing on screen but I can still move the ship around. After some time, enemies showed up. I can move on to stage 4 after defeating them. Otherwise nice entry, the game looks awesome!!

Nicely done mate.
Featured in my YouTube.

What a great entry, I really love the art style you have going, perhaps the UI is a little much but I don't think it was bad at all :D
