I really felt the tense atmosphere this time, and sounds (both music and effects) have been implemented masterfully. Well done!

I really like the art and the sound from ur game. I like the technical realization very much.

Without the game description, I didn't understand what the goal of the game is. I struggled to understand the gameplay loop. I know how hard it is to explain its loop when it's not something common. You could still work on that to make it a little clearer.

Very unique concept, and I'm sure we all stayed up too late working on our games at least one night :)  I was a bit confused in the controls and what to look for. Didn't notice anything other than the TV blinking.

Beautiful art and aesthetics! I second the comment about the trigger area, also an outline effect instead of a flashing screen would help a lot.

Um, very interesting concept, but very hard to get the game to work at all. Maybe make it more clear.

The artwork and visuals are amazing. The SFX with the ticking clock and the atmosphere are wonderful and really bring you into the experience. The gameplay is a bit confusing at the moment; I was able to get something neat to happen, but it does feel like the TV flashing yellow happens too frequently in between tasks.

A better system for know what is interactable, or maybe a large trigger area for what is interactable as well as either lowering the yellow screen timer and/or adding a bit of variety.

Overall, atmospherically this game is brilliant and I think with a few tweaks, you could make the gameplay shine just as much as the atmosphere. Looking forward to some improvements and more games from you!

Interesting game!

The visuals were the greatest visuals I have ever seen in a jam, but I can't say the same for the gameplay. Though it sucks you in, it just leaves you there, I didn't know what to do other than to just watch the tv, I tried interacting with everything but nothing happened. The boy should have given hints after a while, I couldn't finish the game because I had no idea what to do, So I didn't get how this is related to the theme or the mechanics. The sounds were amplifying the experience and I wish I could have thoroughly played it

First of all - great job! The title really looks solid. The artstyle is lovely, I like the low-fi pixel art, yet it keeps a lot of details. I like how the cursor moves and the room tilts a bit and also the guy follows the cursor with the head, great details! The sounds and music are solid, the animations look good.
The lacking part for me was the design and overall direction.
I didn't know what to do first other that playing the TV, then I read the instructions and even with those I didn't figure out all the things happening. I got 3 events happening, triggering something else once but didn't manage to find what did it again. It's a shame because from the screenshots it seems there are some cool stuff but I couldn't get to it.
It's your call but you could make the game more accessible, I am not a fan of a tutorials but some slight hints might help. The objects might move a bit as you get to the right one, the sound might change pitch to indicate hotter/colder, otherwise it feels like I have no idea on collision areas, what to look for or if something should happen at all, and also the timing for triggering the event seems to be very specific.

First of all, I like the athmosphere generated by the audio! caught me immediately. you have chosen very very good sound samples here. I personally do not like pixelart in any way and this game was even more pixelated than many pixelgames i have seen - i had the impression the entire graphics would fit into a 128x128 desktop icon on windows, so the entire visual experience is not for me. the game itself is interesting (as soon as i was able to figure out that those moving pixels shall show kind of a cursor), but the graphical presentation totally ruined it for me. sorry, you asked for honest feedback, that’s what i felt. but i really loved the acoustic athmos!

Nice music and art but for me the gameplay was a bit confusing.

Such an interesting concept. Nicely achieves a coherent theme with every detail. Sounds and music are nicely curated and sucks you in gameplay. Story is very absorbing.

Nice game! The music, sfx and art go really well together and create a really eerie atmosphere. I think it would be better if you could always see how many chances you have left. I couldn't seem to figure out how to interact with anything except the TV. I tried staring at the furniture till the TV screen blinked, but the screen didn’t flash black. The TV part was fun though.

Developer

A hint from me: you can hear a weird sound when the TV flashes black or a slashing sound when the TV flashes yellow :)

I tried playing the game one more time with your hint in mind and I actually managed to complete it this time round. The story was really cool. I think the game restarted a bit abruptly after the end though.

Developer

I'm glad to hear that! And yeah, the game will restart after the end [I can't make the reset feature after all the crazy things that almost made the project jump into failure, that's why I just restart the game xD].

As said, great aestetics, but it felt there was just 'make sure you watch the screen when light goes green'. This felt limited. However, the game does feel solid. Much more than mine :D

Great easthetics and graphics but I was confused about the gameplay and what to do, but spooky vibe :)

It doesn't get past the screen with the text for me. Sounds are still playing but nothing happens.
EDIT: Finally found out you just have to press Z.

The atmosphere of the game is great, but what you are meant to do is a big question mark. I don't know if there are any hints in the game, but all I seem to be doing is move my cursor around, hoping something would happen. And when something does happen, I have no idea why it happened. The time between the TV interactions feels very short too. It would be nice if you were rewarded by hitting the TV minigame in one go by having more time before the TV activates again.
I managed to get the first activation (Spoiler: Guy coming through the mirror) but after that I only managed to get a single "black flash" interaction on the left closet door but never got to trigger it again. Which is a shame because the game looks great and I would have loved to get further through it.

Congrats on submitting to the jam anyway though !

Developer

Thanks for playing and informing me!

I finally found a bug that makes you get interaction on the left closet door.

Really good game with great graphics but the gameplay is a little confusing

Really good game with good graphics

I've figured out how to help the player in a subtle way, but I don't know what other players think (who already got the "ending"). Is it going to hurt you guys? I mean, you've solved the puzzle, and that's your reward. However, I do want others to finish the game :')

The art for the game was so violent which I thought was really impressive being able to convey what's going on in pixel art. Very cool!
