Yeah, the AI is basically non-existent currently: If player is within range, chase, if not, cooldown for 5 seconds, then go back to random direction :D

Thanks for trying out. I will now update the movement, which is crap at the moment.

I think it is expected to use the extensive library that Kenney provides in his free assets.

And yes, I will use paid assets in the game, making it look a bit more tidy, now the jam is ended.

Thanks all for voting and as said, I will take all comments and suggestions to heart.

I really think you created a solid working game here. Short, but still enjoyable, clear. The only thing I definitely would change is the parallax effect of the background. But I love the way everything fits together otherwise.

Well...it looks easy at first...but darn...when you get the hang of switching you think it is easier...nope :D Nicely done...

What is to say: Hectic, fun, fast, ...

The most important part of a game is enjoying it. I did....................so most important part :D

The game looks great. The only down part I found was the fact that I had severe issues getting through open doors... :( If you adjust that, the thrill of making it through the areas will be increased.

This a very good take on the theme and it is executed pretty neatly. A bit of a downer that the guards see you whichever dimensions you have, but the game is fun, puzzle, sneaking, really fun to do.

Deceivingly easy playable...but ooohh getting that diamond...

Unexpectedly fun. The switch was nicely animated and the way the mechanics shifted but recognizable...very well done.

Tough to get the hang of it, but once you have it, it becomes fun to time and aim. And then you find out you have to keep the bar full....lol

Nice game, not that easy but fun to play.

I got a bug when you reach the three stones. When you are next to the middle stone and move towards it, you are moved through the collider into the ground after some time you drop out of the level.

Fast and fun game.

weird indeed, I will have to play again then :D

Though its visuals are hectic, the game played nicely after getting the hang of using the jump plates. Could do with a bit better indicator when I would die :D

Thanks for the kind words. I do feel I could have made it better if I really had had a bit more time during the week. Now it was 2 Sundays and part of a Saturday. I will consider your suggestions.

Lol....all smoke (2D) and mirrors (well...actually orthographic cams ;) )

The dimension part is pretty clear. Loved the animation and the clarity of the goal. Graphics are okay on side of the depth of the game. Sound and music could have leveled it a bit more.

Can't disagree there. Will work on that after the jam.

At the end about the relationships with the wizard it says 'And so did Patrick' or 'Patrick did too'.

Great story, like the fact that it is not too shallow (though you could call it 2 dimensional :D). Why was Satrick at the end called Patrick (or earlier called Satrick?)?

It was definitely interesting twist after having to go through the 'rpg' element. Aiming was a bit off, but the way the build up in the game goes, it definitely was fun to play.

Well setup levels, hard to finish, but that is no problem. Didn't feel that 'building and walking' are two dimensions.

As said, great aestetics, but it felt there was just 'make sure you watch the screen when light goes green'. This felt limited. However, the game does feel solid. Much more than mine :D

Had to get the point of rightclicking to change the 'dimension'. Then it became easy, but you can't reload, so it was a bit annoying.

Really fun game, though the screen was a bit too busy. The theme didn't seem to come across to me. Still well done. I really enjoyed the mechanics of the game.

The game looks very polished. The controls respond well, though the physics makes it a bit too hard to have fun. The way the dimensions have been used is a nice way.

Was it added to the GameDev.tv jam? Why didn't I see this happen?

This definitely could have been a webgl build.

Sorry to hear. I hoped it was a ruse. I know that a platform as itch can help sell, especially if people don't feel they can afford a continuous fee for Patreon or other. I guess it would be better to have  a solid position on Steam for instance (as Epic unlikely will allow adult content of many types, except guns and violence).

Another question, did you also get a change of policy from itch.io that paid options for adult games aren't allowed anymore? Because if not, someone is using it either for baiting, or is simply playing a cry wolf.

I love the way it relates to the tv series Dark, but is well setup in its own right.

Even with the fairy found, I can go to the lake any given day and nothing happens. :(
