Great game! Sadly i got softlocked around level 3 by putting one of the characters through to the next level and then killing the other one.

Press R to restart level. it's in the description! I should make a clear Restart button tho!.

Oh wow, that makes sense. Im guessing there is a Destroy function setup when entering the final area?. You could have that set up with an if(has both entities) destroy. Maybe some encouraging words from the one who made it to the exit on entering the zone.

My brain did loopdy loops trying to efficiently move both characters at the same time. I liked that I could challenge myself in that way. I liked the implementation of mechanics and how the characters acknowledged them, you could see their personality shine when they try to overcome adversary.

Sweet and Concise! Thanks for sharing with us.

Thank you very much!

Lovely idea. Good job!

Cool idea, didn't realise it was more of a puzzle game at first, but once I did I really enjoyed it!

Developer

Yes I've got a face slap with the puzzle element. way harder to design than i thought. so I just went with it and finished something

Woohoo I escaped the lab! This game is really great. From the art to the gameplay, it is the product of lots of good design decisions. I really liked how the bullets only moved when your characters did. I would suggest considering adding lives and checkpoints just because their didn't seem to be any real drawback to dying other than having to start the level over. But for the sake of letting people get a real taste for it I think you struck a great balance.

Developer

Thanks so much! thanks for the feedback, yes lives and checkpoints would be great as well. it's the polishing and finishing touches huh :)

That was such a sweet game, I was sad it was so short!  Felt very invested.

Awesome job, very cute game.

Very cool concept. It reminds me of brothers. That one game where you control two people. The last level was really hard for me. I couldn't get past it. But the rest were pretty fun to go through!

Very nice entry with a touching story really related to the theme. The puzzles were interesting and the game feel was good. Great entry!

Very cute game! These are the type of games I love to play multiplayer, but now it's singleplayer haha. The puzzles were fun, the graphics were adorable and the background music fitted quite well! I struggled a bit with I think the 2nd laser level as my first character kept accidentally entering the door when I didn't want them to yet hehe. Also, laser seemed a bit wonky at times if you had two characters stand on the button at the same time, but besides that I really enjoyed this entry!

Grats on your submission!
