Really cool and interesting way for this theme!

Cool and fun concept. A full game with this should be very interesting. :)

I love these calculation blocks! Make a whole game out of it! Sometimes it was hard to know where to place them, so that my player could reach them. Maybe some gridscnapping?

Can you play and rate mine, too, please? :D

awesome game! the concept is interesting and the gameplay is fun and challenging! overall I enjoyed playing! keep it up!

Nice little concept, I enjoyed the math notation for the actions, great work, I hope to see more!

Fun and interesting game! I’ve rated your game. I hope that you’ll check out and rate my submission as well. :-)

Very nice game and fun mechanics! I found some difficulties with multiplications and divisions not being too intuitive.

Sadly it crashed restarting level 6 (didn't quite get the last block positioned right to make the jump), but I was having a lot of fun and it was so very clever.

I think this would make a lovely phone game that people could spend hours on if there were enough levels. Like quite a few games it does feel like the theme was tacked on but I'm not mad at it because its such a clever little game

Fun! and the ending is kind of surprising...

I like the math mechanics for the puzzles, technically they don't even need to be math symbols, you could have anything (red = copy square, blue = delete square). Well designed and great sounds and voices!

I was really having fun until it gets to multiply and dividing(i know probably i very bad at math :P ).
It is really nice game. GJ congrats

Interesting mechanic. You could use this mechanic with physics system to create awesome and interesting puzzles. Although the mathematic is used in the game, it could be boiled down to simply duplicating, removing, doubling the size and halving the size of the cube. So in a way, complex mathematics or equations are not used.
Another critic that I would give is that overall the puzzles in the games mainly involved creating a passageway for the player. Adding some puzzles where the player can proceed by affecting the environment can be a good way to improve the game.
Overall, great job, and nice voice acting and animations.

Amazing game!!!

An interesting puzzle game about mathematical operations! I liked the idea of the play on words "Mr. Mat Hematic" and the game about math :D

I passed it to the end, level 7 made me strain my brain :D

I was pleased with the voice acting, it was unexpected :)

The music at the end is quite sad, which contrasts with the music during the game itself.

In general, I liked it, I love this kind of game, maybe it makes sense to bring it to a full  game, great job!

Thank you. You are quite right about the last cutscene music. That music felt me so dramatic and emotional too. But I felt like it fit the cutscene better, because of “sad” scene. And I think it was my first time trying voice acting, pitching audio with Audacity for different characters and stuff. I am glad it didn’t suck :D

I’d love to make it to a full released game, but that’d require more funding for the game. And I have realized kickstarter doesn’t work in my country :/

I am glad you liked my game! Thank you for feedback :)

Really interesting game mechanics. I did have that issue with it freezing up after a few level reloads, but restarting the game fixed that up.

I liked the intro, and it was quite an ending too!

Really cool game, the BIG problem is the fact that I'm too stupid for puzzes. lol

I really liked this game. The art was cool and it had a cool concept. Great work!

The game was fun. The jumping was a little floating and it had a kind of slide into place landing feel. That all said it worked well. I did encounter the bug where if I dragged through the character it would not interact properly. The R did cause some weird glitches and semi-crashes resulting in me having to go back to the main menu as it was not playable.  All in all it was very fun, I like it.

Developer

Yeah, that dragging through character is a known bug. So in each level, I mentioned in the bottom left corner "how to avoid this bug". And restarting the level caused a crash for some players for some reason. I'll try to fix it. Thanks for your feedback! :)

Congrats on submitting!

I played it a few times liked the art style.

biggest issue was restarting it many times with the r key resulted in it crashing.

I liked the concept of this a lot! The controls were very responsive, albeit the controller itself felt a little bit chonky. I loved the big belly on the teacher by the way haha.

Also, I started getting quite some lag every time I restarted a level to the point it eventually crashed, sadly.

All in all, cute little entry and grats on your submission!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I am glad you found controls responsive. Implemented coyote time and stuff for that :) I don’t know why multiple restart crashes. Hopefully, I’ll be able to fix it

I believe the game was in Unity right? Mind sharing what exactly happens behind the scenes when you press restart? Perhaps I can help :D

Developer(+1)

yep, it is in Unity. I just load the current scene with scene manager. Nothing extraordinary. That’s why I don’t understand..You can check the source code if it’d help

Thanks btw!

Alright I took a quick look and unfortunately I couldn't quite figure out what is causing it, but I did find that the PlayerLoop (heart of the engine, basically) is really getting stressed upon loading stages. Could be due to graphics being too intense but I doubt that, it might also have something to do with the double canvas you're using, or perhaps the Awake/Start methods you use. I'll look into it some more after work tomorrow :D

Developer

I just remembered, in the editor, when I used to press R to restart, I used to get error about new input system (I think). I dont remember exactly. But it wasn’t crashing in the editor. So I didn’t think it would be a problem. Tomorrow I’ll try to find that error again. But Idk why new Input System would have any errors

Great little puzzle game here, very addicting! One addition that would be nice is to have a little text description underneath what each of the ability options does, otherwise great submission!
