Congrats for your ratings. Keep up the good work.

the aesthetic execution was great between the graphics (neon blocks), music (gave me 8-bit arcade vibes), and sfx (satisfying click when the blocks landed). it took me a while to understand the best way to place blocks to get a high score, and i was definitely confused a few times when i thought the block would land lower, but instead clicked in at a higher level (might have been due to how much my tower was swaying while i moved it). i liked having the continue option, and clearing a combo was satisfying. i could definitely see this game being addicting to play!

The art style is pretty. I like the challenge of achievements, and also the UI of the menu.

The game itself is really cool.

the game looks amazing but it feels kinda slow till it becomes somewhat difficult.Anyways great work!

I want to say to other people reviewing that assumed the physics were as strict as Tetris: play it enough to find out that you can stick things to the column 'adhesively' from the sides, this has its own non-Tetris physics and you will be surprised when it does some things more forgivingly than Tetris in certain ways.

So once I figured it out i thoroughly enjoyed this game.  The music isn't deeply creative but it does not -need- to be it had the right energy even though it was repetitive.

Anyway outstanding job especially under the time constraints and writing it from basic JS and on a phone!

Most impressed, good work.

gave you an itch follow.  If you like the stuff on my page, consider doing the same.

Loved how smooth everything was! The soft glow on everything was a nice visual touch. I also enjoyed how "balance" emerges in different ways: managing your tower stack, what block colours touch, getting high scores while avoiding the dangerous skulls, etc. :D

very good game but it was easy

Thanks! It does progressively scale as you reach higher levels but I should probably adjust the scaling slightly ๐Ÿคญ

At first I wasn't convinced, but doing combos with pieces was cool. I wasnt sure how physics will work, but I had my fun!

Developer

Yeah, playing for combos really adds another level to the game, thanks for trying the game! ๐Ÿ™

I really like the graphics, UI and audio to this game it feels really polished!
Although i was able to just repeatedly swipe left to right the entire way through without dying, I still really like the gameplay and it was really easy to understand!

Developer

Oh, thanks! ๐Ÿค—

That sounds like a bug to me! There's supposed to be a threshold to repeatedly swiping left and right before a collapse will occur. I'll have to check that out and probably tweak some things. Thanks for pointing that out! ๐Ÿ™

The visuals and the sound mesh really well, and this theme-based retelling of a classic is always a good idea ;)

I did manage to make the blocks do some weird stuff by 'sliding into them' just before they exited the screen, and would also have liked some indication of how close to collapse my structure was, but overall a solid entry!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, added to my notes, will definitely tinker some with that. ๐Ÿค—

Not bad :D

This is an extremely good entry. Once I realised you could kind of maneouvre the blocks to under the stack to make 3 was a game changer :) controls super intuitive and extra impressive that it was made on a phone!

Developer

Thanks for trying it out! ๐Ÿ™ Yes blocks can be matched anywhere on the tower as long as they're still visible. It adds some strategic gameplay once you nail that. ๐Ÿค—

Awesome looking entry that is really well made! Great job!

Great polished project — from the color palette to the Itch page, everything is well done. The gameplay feels much smoother on a smartphone and even allowed me to unlock an achievement. Well linked to the theme!

Developer

Thanks for trying it out! Yes it's built on a phone and adapted for phones so that's definitely the preferred platform! I actually never played it myself on desktop, just added listeners for mouse since I figured someone might try. ๐Ÿค— Turns out it wasn't that bad thankfully ๐Ÿคญ The achievements are all tied to new skins, so if you ever play again make sure to try the arrows next to the platform on menu. Should probably make that more clearer..
