Cool game, the graphics are great! The music is nice but it would be nice to have more SoundFX. The number of challenges you attempted at is impressive, good job!

Chill vibe and aesthetic that pair well with the causal pace of the game. I really like the time-freezing gun mechanic, but as others mentioned, the physics of the game can be a little wonky at times. Pretty neat how you managed to incorporate so many of the NFT challenges, but unfortunately I don’t have a wallet so I wasn’t able to interact with the store.
Thanks for the feedback, and for playing the game. Yes, the physics need some more love. It’s unfortunate I wasn’t able to fix them before the deadline. I’m working on improving the game post jam.
If you want to try the NEAR integration, please let me know, and I can help transfer the initial funds for your wallet, and also the NFT for the in-game skin.
Very good game. For simplicity I will mention the good and bad parts below.
The good parts:
1. The game looks very good (especially the character on the home page)
2. The UI is very well made (the dialogue, the main menu, the market, etc.)
3. The sound is good for this game (not too repetitive as I have encountered in other games).
The bad parts:
1. Some surfaces on the platforms seemed too "slippery" to me and this made the game much more difficult (unless this was done on purpose).
2. The market lets you change your character, but you need to log in.
Otherwise very good game. I liked.
Thanks for the useful feedback, both good points and bad points. The platforms are not made slippery on purpose. I just didn’t have enough time to fix it before the deadline. I have created a post jam version which solves this issue. I plan on working more on the game post jam, so I really appreciate the feedback.
The market is for the web3 challenge, and we need to login to our NEAR wallet to change skin. I should have mentioned this better in the game itself.
What an awesome platform puzzler!
One of the definite favourites of mine.
I really liked the simple graphics and mechanics that yet succeeded to make the game challenging and beautiful.
Near perfect execution for the jam theme <3
Thanks for the feedback. I’m happy to hear that you liked the music and SFX (especially since I rushed everything at the end!) I agree on the collision and platform movement not being good. I didn’t realize the jump was low, so I’m glad you (and others) have mentioned it. I’ll take everything into account for the post gamejam version.
Dude really up and did every optional challenge, well done lol.
Stasis pistol was cool, I wish it interacted with more features of the game though.
Apart from the platforms being slippery, I think the physics didn't feel the best. It sometimes felt like your character was struggling to get up hills, and jump physics were a bit weird.
I did enjoy the level design though. there were cool features in the game, like non-linear platform paths and the magnetic rail. Well done on submitting!
Thanks for the feedback. I didn’t notice the struggle up hill at first, but now that you mention it, I see it too.
I think I spent too much time on other things instead of focusing on the core game mechanic (the statis pistol.) I appreciate the comments, and will use it to create an improved version.
I liked the sound effects and music, overall great audio. The time-stop mechanic is satisfying. Well done!
This game felt pretty slick ... but the moving platforms were too slick -- I didn't like how I slid right off them. The freezing mechanic was very good, and the graphics and music were both nice. I don't have a lot of patience for platformers so I didn't get too far.
Really like interpretation of the theme, with freezing individual objects. Nice and unusual graphical style, almost like vector drawing, with sandbox-like feeling of Matter.js physics. Level 2 is quite difficult though, with platforms sliding away from your feet, took me quite a few tries to finish it. It also feels like the jump could’ve been higher.
thanks for the feedback. The platforms are too slippery.
Sorry to hear that NEAR didn’t work. Was it trouble logging in on Itch, or didn’t the game reckognize you were logged in after getting redirected back to the game? If it’s the latter, refreshing/reloading the page may help.
I noticed some performance drop myself once in a while during development, but I didn’t look too much into it. Maybe I’ll take a second look post-jam
It worked. Got my green skin :). Sorry, I am a noob when it comes to web3. This is what I did to make it work:
- Made sure I had some NEAR tokens in my wallet (fairly obvious I know... :D). It took a while until I got the tokens.
- As soon as I had the tokens I tried again to buy the skin, but it did not work. I came back a few hours later and then it worked.
Sorry to hear that. In order to buy NFTs, you also need a NEAR wallet, and login to it. If you get stuck in the NEAR login screen, you need to reload the game, either by navigating back, clicking “Cancel” in the NEAR login screen, or open the game page on Itch again. I know this is tedious, and I could have been more clear about that in the in-game store as well.
indeed very relaxing. I love the time paralysis mechanics. The music is lovely.
Very interesting gameplay mechanic, great way to implement the time theme. Relaxing to play. Good luck on the jam! :)
