Nice funny game, but a bit weird that there is no background sound.

The screen was looking weird. There is some kind of object obscuring the view. Also, weird how In game you cant rotate more than 360 degrees in a direction.

10/10. Best game ever. It made me feel super tense. Also, I recognize the brickwall texure, because I used it once for my first game. So it was a nice thing to see. :)

Really lovely game. Loved the mechanics and the gameplay was incredible (no bugs or need for tutorial).

Nice and simple. It would be nice if the game's page wasn't this blank and white...

Nice game. Not so complex, but sure nice looking. Liked the multiple endings (2 at least).

Nice game, but really difficult. I couldn't finish it and after 3th time I gave up. What the game seems to be missing is that the object you need to use are to blended with the surroundings, so it took me for a while just to realize that the fishing rod was supposed to be used for the bath tube. I saw that in one of the cells was a key, but I couldn't get to it and the monster AI was really dumb and too powerfull (also his movement were not logical at all, not only that he was fast, but a step for him was far like half of his height). So, nice game, but the objects need to be highlighted and the monster AI need improvements (let him stay in a room for at least a while, because I can't even do anything, because the house is a one-way style, you cant loop him around something).

Nice game... I have to say that I hoped to see more horror games like the windmill :)

I must say... This game is perfect for those type of games that doesn't depend on a jumpscare to give you anxiety about whatever or not something may jump in your face. Good game.

Not bad for a horror game. The environment was creepy, but some elements in the game didn't made sense (the player was able to walk over the house and the logs could only be pushed...  Pushing the logs isn't a bad mechanic, but it isn't great either. Nice game though...

Ok game, I guess... It was a game, but I found it problematic that I couldn't really defend myself or hide fast somewhere. Also the map is made that way so you end up cornered by the monster in a room. Also, the monster is just a nice animated cloth... So 4/10 game.

Thanks very much for all the info. I will gladly implement it (because it is also really simple from what I see), but unfortunately these games that are made in Unity won't get this kind of update, because I gave up on Unity since the "pricing incident". I will apply this setting in the future Godot games that I will upload. Thanks you very much for your effort put in the response and I am also thanking you for this new information.

Thanks for testing my games. Now I work with Godot, so maybe the "keybindings" idea would be solver. But just to be sure, can you explain it a bit. I will gladly implement the controls better in my games if you could give me more info on this. Thanks again ! :)

Can't believe that from one game Markplier played you started making these awesome nice games. Hope to see you try maing more horror games though...

Really nice looking game. I must say, I remained impressed by the way the game looked. The theme seemed perfectly implemented and the game was working quite fine.

BUT... Even if I am praising the game I think a bit of criticism would improve future games (not that I am a good gamedev myself, but I am a quite good reviewer).

So the problems I encountered with the game are the following :

1.The missing tutorial. It could be just me, but a short tutorial not only guides player, but also help them play the game at its fullest (I will explain at point 2)

2.Because of the missing tutorial, at first I thought that the barrel at the beginning were the obstacles you had to avoid.

3.Because of the small UI element that shows your "Resouces" I finally understood the role of the barrels and tried collecting them. I must say that here the main problem was that the UI text was quite small and didn't see it at first (maybe if it was more clear then maybe I would have understood the thing with the resources faster).

4.The UI button for upgrades was broken. Sometime it didn't take the first click and sometime I had to multiple-click just for it to open the upgrade menu.

5.After opening the upgrade menu I saw that the game won't pause (maybe that was intended), but this make it really hard for players to repair the ship).

6.I was able to survive without any damage if I hold W and A at the same time and the waves won't hit me (they would get close, but not enough to harm the ship). So there is a way to get infinite score :)

SO, I must say... I love this little game and hope to see much more games. I really loved the way you designed the page with such nice color and wave images.

Also, this comment doesn't serve as bad criticism, just as a honest review from a fellow dev, so please don't delete it :)

If you want a score, I will say this :

Creativity : 5 out of 5

Enjoyment : 4 out of 5

Functionality : 4 out of 5

Great game, keep improving!

Ok... SO that was a really cool game. Simple yet so nice looking.  I can't say that I found any problem with it, maybe just the fact that on its page you can make it full screen and was a bit hard to look around.

But it was a super fine game! It was perfect.

My personal ratings for the game are :

Creativity : 5 out of 5

Functionality : 5 out of 5

Enjoyment : 5 out of 5

So, I saw this game's page and it got me curious... It was nice and quite captivating, but I also felt like the game had the following problems :

1. The gameplay is unclear. I thought this is more of an golf course, but it was more like a bowling ball controlled by sliding your mouse in the direction you want to ball to go. That's not a bad idea, but I felt like it was a bit stressing that I had to make the ball move every time I want to slide to a direction for an accurate target.

2. The snowball seems to bug every time I try to increase it's dimension to maximum. I wanted to see if the ball had some kind of limit in its scale, but after a while it would slide in a random direction with immense speed without even trying to  move it.

So, the game was quite cool. Nice and easy to understand, but maybe it needs some more calibration on the snowball control ?

Anyway, my personal ratings for the game are :

Creativity : 5 out of 5

Functionality : 4 out of 5

Enjoyment : 4 out of 5

So, I saw this game and it made me curious... I must say, it was neither good or bad, a bit simple, but quite a nice game. Now, even if I would like to praise the game, it also had its problems :

1. The truck controls are not the best, not that you have to for a game that you just want to test your skills on, but it could still be improved. Also, the truck really feels like walking in square wheels because it had a really weird way of running on the road.

2. As you said, the game is still in its developing stage and it doesn't really have any objective (just the chocolate delivery one).

3. The truck should have a sound (maybe it will be a bit difficult to implement, but it will make the game a bit better).

4. The controls are ok and all, but the "ESC" button used to quit the game is not really the best idea. Maybe you didn't had time to make an Main Menu, but still, a main menu would make this game a bit better.

So... Fine base for a game. Not a really complex one, but it need a bit of work for it to be ready, so good luck !!!

First, when I saw this game I was quite attracted by the aspect of the game. The game looks professional and seems to work perfectly fine. Even if I  like to praise the game for its design I also must mention the following problems:

Problems:

1. The goal of the game is simple, but maybe too simple ? I mean, I actually tested it and it turns out you can hit all the obstacles making your snowball as small as possible and still win. In the 3rd round I actually didn't even bother to move just to see how it plays out and the game played by itself because I still won  without moving.

2. The collection of items seems nice, but useless in my opinion, because the snowman doesn't play any critical role and it isn't improving the gameplay with anything new...

3.The music was a bit continuous, but it wasn't to bad.

My personal ratings for the game are :

Creativity : 3 out of 5

Functionality : 5 out of 5

Enjoyment : 2 out of 5

So, I expected this game to be a text-based-game form you images, so I will start and say that it was working perfectly fine, the text was the right size and I could see the effort put in the game., But I also felt the following problems :

1. The screen is white and it could be quite powerfull for the eyes (especially when is dark outside).

2. The gameplay was like any text-based one, with a much more effort on the functionality, but I am still not a fan of these types of games.

3. The story was quite boring in my opinion and I also didn't really enjoy it. I was hoping for some thing of d&d text-besed gameplay.

4. There is nothing that makes this "game" special. No images, no sounds ... just plain text.

5. Some elements in the story seemed to push you to the same outcome or ending.

So, because I am not a fan of these types of games, my personal ratings for the game is :

Creativity : 2 out of 5

Functionality : 5 out of 5

Enjoyment : 1 out of 5

Ok, so yeah... This "game" is still far from the point and I read your game description. Also, I want to include some aspect and problem in the game that may help you in fixing those faster (if you still want to update the game.

Problems:

1. The game is at this moment more of an "walking simulator during winter" than a game about fishing, but to be fair you mentioned it in the description already.

2. The left mouse button is a problem as you said if you hold it (also because I know some things about godot maybe "insert.is_action_just_pressed()" may help in fixing your problem.

3.The game is really power consuming... My device had to start up it's fans to cool of and that without spawning any fish so there must be some fixes and optimizations in the game for the moment,

4. Mountains and mostly anything has missing colliders...

5.When you try to enter on one of those ice sculptures in you look a bit down you can see the interior of the character head.

6.At first, the camera didn't wanted to rotate after entering the game for the first time. After re-entering everything seemed to work fine.

So... Fine base for a game. Not a really complex one, but it need a bit of work for it to be ready, so good luck !!!

They seem to be easy to fix... Anyway the game is 99% complete so good job for making the game !

I am just dropping some images here, because on reddit is hard to upload images and I can easily get banned... If you want to remove the comment please let me know...

The effect above... I am not sure if it was intended.

Yep. Your game, your idea... but just make sure to make them scary! :D

Nice game man. The characters seems to want to go outside instead of going in, but it is ok, because I always made profit... I forgot to write this on reddit, but I always made challenges with 0$ prizes but 100$ entries fee and won at least 200$ every time. :)

Really nice game... The environment looked good, the gameplay was quite tense and over-all the game seemed good... During my gameplay I encountered the following inconveniences :

1. The car in the image below is looking a bit weird, I think it need a bit of thickness, because some faces were inverted and I could see through them. This problem is optional, because I was wondering in the word looking for an item and I thought that the car maybe had it... (Optional)

2. The toilet were looking ok, but the water in them was looking good... I know that maybe you wanted to simulate a realistic "flush of the toilet", but in my opinion it made the game look unpolished... I put 2 images below :

3. A little problem with lighting... The chandelier had it's lightbulbs looking like they are on, but the light is off... (by this I mean that they look like they emit light effect is on, but the actual light is off).

4. The gameplay was ok, but didn't engage with me... I personally think that it was a mild horror game. I was hoping to get at least 2-3 jumpscares with a creature walking at incredible speed on the hallway, but the single jumpscare (that it wasn't actually scary) was that white bed sheet that was supposed to scare me... I walked around it before the end of demo screen pop-up...

5. At this point the game felt more like a "walking with a lighter in hand simulator" game and I really felt bored... I also found a bit frustrating the speed that the character was walking to and it was a pain to have to go from room to room at that slow speed without the possibility to run even for a few second (the stamina will also need to be shown by a loading bar that depletes when you run and fill when you walk normally...

6. The game was a bit too blank and the mechanic with the lighter can be improved if you add a limited oil amount in it an also let players find cans of oil along the gameplay...

7. The "search in trash" mechanic need a progress bar because I didn't know how much it took to the player to search in it and I had to do it twice because at first I didn't know if it done something until the second time when I got the text "There is nothing usefull here".

So this is my opinion on the game... I don't want to sound rude, the game is nice and I feel like it was made by a beginner game-dev (I am not a master in videogames myself), but this review serve as a point to improve this game... I can tell from the gameplay that IT CAN BE IMRPOVED to the point where it can attract a lot of players... Just work at the monster look (a bed sheet is too basic) and keep implementing more original jumpscares (make the monster walk on hallway with a fast movement speed) and I will guarantee that it will improve you game 5 times.

Nice game. I encountered 2 bugs: one was when I died in the cave and the counter for the pickaxe didn't reset (image below. And the second was when I unlocked the door but I was unable to go back after the comarade told me to go back and I don't know why, but the screen got dark (but you could kept hearing the beating, walking so I walked bindly and got the non existing ending. :)

Really nice game. Loved the main menu screen with that flashlight effect.

Really nice game... It was quite hard (I only found 1 branches and couldn't find any other... When the light is getting smaller it is already over :*)

Really nice game. the concept and idea is awesome, it reminds me of an old flash game (but a zombie apocalipse). I also love that it isn't mandatory to drive and play at the same time., because it would had made the game to difficult. The game is nice and all, but I found 2 inconvenience with this game :

1.The color is white and when I played the game it was during the night so I had to decrease my display light level, because it was a bit too powerfull for my eyes.

2.I observed that if you do left all the way you can see the arm that isn't connected to any body part, just floating with the wheel. (I won't say that this is a problem but it was funny for me)  :)

3.The game can improve, because at the moment it is too plain and a bit boring... It would be nice do get from the points collected money to upgrade your car and eve add a booster that boost your car for 10 seconds and recharge in 5 minutes (also, during the boost you are invincible and there is also an upgrade that decrease the cooldown time for every upgrade).

4.The countinuous sound of the car's engine get boring after a while so to make it better I highly suggest you to make possible for players to listen to music from the car's radio.

So that's all I could come up with about problems and improvement in the game. The game in stis stage is already well done, but if you want to get more players maybe a few improvements need to be made. I enjoyed the game and I give you credit for that. Good job! :D

Nice game. I really enjoyed it. The gameplay and art-style was perfect, the music was perfect. I got almost 10000. During the gameplay the single observation (if it was not intended) is that you can make your player jump when you move the sword really fast from the ground and it created an opening for the monsters to kill me. But the game seems to be working 100% without any problem.

I almost got 10000 points :D

It doesn't really matter, because those models aren't that hard to make... Good job!

Really nice game. The mechanics and gameplay felt awesome. The game seems to be working without problems, just a little observation... When I completed the level and the End panel appeared, I still was able to control the player (I couldn't see him, but I heard the sound of jumping when pressing the Space Bar. Good job on the game :D

Nice game. The mechanics and gameplay felt unique.

Thanks! I am glad you liked it... I am a chill dude ad sometime I write in my reviews that I am not mad after playing the game, but there is a specific problem that need to be fixed as soon as possible. I saw you writing a rating to a game that I rated and when I saw your submission on this game jam I said that maybe I should try your game (sometime when I posted a game on a game jam,  some devs rated my games and I also rated their games, but there were instances were I rated some games but didn't hear back from those devs). So good job on the game. If you did it solo I give you credit for the incredible art-style. Hope to see more of your games soon. :D

Yeah... I am glad that I was able to help. Keep the good work ! :)

Wow... Really nice game... The controls are well made, the slimes look nice and overall the game is enjoyable. I loved the option menu that let you modify the sounds (the dialogue slider I didn't understand for what it was supposed to control, because there weren't real dialogues in the game except the first time when the slime speak with us... because of that maybe adding the dialogue to the SFX slider should be better and easier for the player). One more aspect in the game is that it was nice and all, but it was quite boring for not having some enemies and some of them may destroy you if you have a smaller number of slimes than him.

But the game is good. Maybe it is still in development and maybe you had only 24 hours or more, so I won't say anything more about the game. Good job!

Super nice game!
