Very addicting game

Simple yet so fun. Managed to go 8m and 14000 in score and bouncing around and pogo stick with your sword is such a nice idea. Feels like this could be pushed further with something different the higher you go or the longer the sword is.

Funny game, I went up to 4m but surviving between ghosts and skeletons becomes quite hard really fast lol

Fun game!

Great concept, very fun to swing the sword around

Very cute and fun entry! At first I thought it would only get easier at the sword grew, but I was pleasantly surprised by the dynamically changing movement keeping me on my toes. Wasn't expecting a Jojo's reference in the soundtrack, but it was a welcome surprise :)

I would've liked to see a bit more variety from the enemies or the level, but I still had quite a good time slaying ghouls and ghosts. This had quite an original interpretation of the theme! Really cool.

Thanks for the feedback! About the song, I hadn't noticed it before , but I can hear it now. All credit goes to David Renda.

Fun concept! If you decide to expand the idea, you should try to look into different stages. That would allow for variation of terrain, enemy types, and other ideas you might have. Best of luck ;)

Very fun gameplay and nice aproach on the theme!

This is one of the most original ideas I've seen for this jams theme. Congrats on the submission. The controls felt super tight and  the vaulting was soo fun!

I spent a lot more time on this game than I care to admit. This is a very nice tight gameplay loop. Its as if you took the fun from that other game about swording a dragon, and you made it arcade like. I would love to see this expanded with a bit more depth. Such as waves. Or upgrades. or some such.

this is such an interesting game, sword concepts are always interesting and having it yank you around and bounce you off the ground is so interesting, it almost feels like you could add some various terrain and it would become almost a speed run to get through areas easier when shorter, almost a forced progression system where cramped space leads to less cramped space as you move. but other ways could work spectacularly as well, or simply expand on the behavior of the sword and what happens as you go higher. amazing experience for its simplicity

Thanks for the feedback! You should check out "deepest sword' if you haven't before.

Incredibly entertaining! Simple concept but executed so well. Really nice presentation and style too. Excellent work

Nice game. I really enjoyed it. The gameplay and art-style was perfect, the music was perfect. I got almost 10000. During the gameplay the single observation (if it was not intended) is that you can make your player jump when you move the sword really fast from the ground and it created an opening for the monsters to kill me. But the game seems to be working 100% without any problem.

The sword does pull on the player. I tried to add a weight system, where the sword gets heavier as it grows, and the play style would have to change around that, but getting the physics to play nice was a challenge. It definitely needs more work. Thanks for the feedback!

This game is shockingly fun! I feel like you nailed your game feel. You've got the core of a very entertaining game here if you choose to keep expanding on it!

Love the art style, and the use of the theme is clever ! Loved it !!

A fun and simple concept for a game, which I haven't seen done too much before, I really enjoyed it, good music choice and simple, intuitive controls, my only real suggestion would be a life system

This is a really fun idea, nice work!

I'm apparently very good at accidentally swinging into the floor, getting stuck, and impaling myself on a ghost tho

really very fun, reminded me a lot of PoleRiders on foddy.net, by the game dev who also made Getting Over It. I think this game would also be more interesting if obstacles to vault over were added somehow

I had a lot of fun with this, nice simple idea, nice simple execution, well done!
