WOW. This is a full-on VIDEOGAME. Extremely well implemented, fantastic work! I was a bit confused what the static blocks were (in single player), but other than that no notes, great great great work!
Dang! So much juice. It took me a minute to understand the concept (I wish the review page also had the dang game page info on it too), but I love how crisp everything is. The music rules too. I imagine there are a lot of really good strategies out there and I know none of them! 😅
I can see how the menus took a third of the development. I will make sure to spend around 1/3 of my time using the menus to make up for it.
(They’re great menus)
Edit: I really hope when you said 30% of this was done before the jam that you mistyped and meant 80% or something because holy hell, how do I get this good at making stuff
This is super impressive, lots of fun! Love all the polish and the huge variety of modes and visuals, and the music is great. The transitions between themes during the gameplay are really well done. Gameplay felt easy to pick up for a genre fan like myself, but it has its own pacing and feel.
It's incredibly polished, hard to believe it was made in just a week. The conditions for clearing blocks were unique, and it felt thrilling when I stacked extra blocks to complete combos before they disappeared. The fact that the cursor could affect the opposite side of the board was also impressive. Though my quickness aren't great, so I couldn't clear many levels, it was fun.
Incredible game!
I think the only thing missing are online leaderboards. If you want an could host them for you. :D
Other than there is nothing I can criticize - the game mechanic is super fun, and the polish is next level. Seeing the new environments is really motivating and the effects when destroying blocks and building combos are insanely rewarding!
Thank you! Honestly, for my last game I wanted to have leaderboards hosted on Nintendo's servers (it was a Switch game) and the process was such a pain that I don't wanna touch anything online leaderboards related ever again LMAO. Maybe I'll attempt it if I ever decide to expand this in the future.
I have a simple firebase project set up, if you want I can add an API endpoint for you that you can use to upload and download scores.
You game is sick so I would love to contribute! And it would only take me an hour or so. I used it for quite a few projects before (including this jam) so I mostly got the hang of it by now. ;p
You can add me on discord if you like (username: bene_labs) and I can guide you
I appreciate it honestly! Though at this point if I were to add online leaderboards I'd wanna do it all myself to be fully in control of it, if that makes sense.

Wow, felt very incredibly polished! Unbelievable :O
You should upload some gameplay so I can see how it's supposed to be played.
Amazing job!
Good idea! I had put this together for Bluesky, but might as well put it on more places.
