Awesome concept with a great execution that got me genuinely hooked right from the first round! :D I think this game has a ton of potential and I would love to see it expanded. But the current version already works really well and is damn impressive for a student project. Great work!

This game is both poggers and a W! xD

Here’s my highscore:

spoiler Who knew being a twitch magician was this profitable? :P Higscore pic

You can pet the cat. 10/10 game.

Awesome Game, great job! I really wish there was an endless mode tough :p

I’m not home right now but I’ll do it this evening.

Very interesting game that really gets you thinking, good job! Also, supplying some optional hints and solution via Google Drive was a nice idea!

Scrolling through the books felt great but I had a lot of trouble putting them back on the shelf each time, seems like their grab collision is a bit bugged.

I really loved your game so the kind words mean a lot coming from you, thanks! :)

Very cute and fun little puzzle game! I encountered a few bugs like the interaction range being inconsistent and a few slightly weird hitboxes, but I still managed to beat every level and had a good time doing so. :) I see you labelled the download file 0.1, so can I look forward to more levels? ;D

Haha, I know the feeling. :p

I think it wouldn’t have been an issue if you weren’t able to accidently break the blocks while being in the shop tough. One tip I can give for the future: in most engines you can make UI Elements stop the mouse so it’s impossible to click things underneath them. Otherwise, if you’d used an Input Action system you could have simply disabled the mining input while inside the shop.

Thanks for the explanation!

Sounds to me like you probably encountered a bug related to the cables. I’ve already rewritten the code for them as it was rather janky, so I hope these kinds of issues won’t show up in the post-jam version anymore. ^^

Haha nice pun! xD The idea was to make an educational puzzle game that teaches different aspects of binary logic and goes more in depth with each level, so players keep diving deeper into the topic. Since I only managed to finish the circuit simulation itself I can see how the idea didn’t came across quite as well. Now that I’ve build a solid basis I think I can still make the puzzle mode happen tough. :)

Anyways, thanks for playing!

Fun and relaxing game with a satisfying upgrade mechanic, I like it! Reminded me a bit of Steam World Dig which is one of my favourite games. :D

I think some extra feedback when breaking blocks would have been very nice, especially some indication how close you are to breaking it. I also locked myself out of the first shopkeeper on my first try as I broke the blocks underneath him. On my second run I made it all the way to the bottom tough!

Thanks for playing and good point with the music!

Could you futher explain what you mean by “hook up more then 1 thing to the components”? Each output can be connected to any number of inputs, but each input can only be connected to a single output as binary logic gates don’t allow for more than one value per input. (I’ll make sure to add additional color coding to make this clearer tough.) Or do you mean you would like an option to quickly connect multiple components at once? Creating a chain with a switch, gate and bulb should definitely be possible tough, so maybe you just ran into a bug. 😅

Fun and hilarious game, good job! An RPG with this as the fight mechanic would honestly be genius :D

No problem, glad I could help. :)

One tip for the web build: You should make sure that the itch viewport size matches the window size you chose when exporting (plus some extra height for the bottom widget). I would also recommend disabling the itch fullscreen button for a unity web build as only the unity fullscreen button in the included widget will work properly.

Very polished and fun platformer! The core mechanic is great and was utilized very well in the levels. I also really liked the character art! The button layout was a bit awkward for me as pressing both the jump and swap button at the same time is very hard with the same hand. I managed to make it work by crossing my hands and pressing wasd with the left and q with the right hand tough. :D

Here’s my final score:

I made a circuit builder game. Didn’t have time for a tutorial but I hope you can figure it out anyways. :p

Very fun and polished game!

Always having to move toward your shoot direction took me a while to get used to but it worked great once I figured it out. Death animations and screen transitions would have been a nice touch but everything else looked good! In the future I would recommend ignoring mouse inputs for the first second or so a new screen pops up as I accidently skipped the upgrade and result screen a few times from shooting.

I also

spoiler really liked the boss fight. ;)

Fun game with a great premise!

I think automatic fire when holding the shoot button would have been better tough, as continuously clicking the shoot button got a bit tiring after a while. The game ran perfectly in my browser but I would recommend removing the quit button for a web build.

All in all a great result for the jam. :D

Thanks! :)

Yeah I agree, I’ll take this as a lesson to start implementing sounds asap in the future. I’ve always been adding sounds at the very end for some reason but this time I was so busy fixing bugs that I only realized they were still missing after the submission deadline. The fact that audio is a distinct category makes me a bit worried now 😅

Thank you! I certainly encountered more bugs along the way than I would like to admit…

True, totally forgot about that :p

Thanks! I originally wanted to create a whole campaign with pre-made logic puzzles but sadly ran out of time for the jam. I’ll probably do an update after the rating period ends tough. ;)

Surprisingly fun and addictive game, nicely done! I think adding some time pressure in the mix via something like a black hole that follows you could be a cool addition. I could totally see myself playing this one on the bus as is tough. ^^

Here’s my highscore so far:

Very nice game! The only parts I didn’t like were when you had to navigate off camera but other than that, great work. The awesome controls of the snail made this a blast to play! :)

Incredible work, I love the character designs! Also, great music, mood, and humour. :)

The game looks really intriguing but I can’t get past the first room. The only thing visible are the lamps on the celling, there seem to be walls everywhere and I can’t seem to interact with anything. What am I missing?

I’m on my PC right now but I will try it out again on my MacBook later in case it’s just a problem with the web build.

Very fun and cute game, good job!

I didn’t quite understand how earning money works but exploring the ocean and upgrading your gear was a great experience nevertheless.

Thanks a lot! There’s another mini Jam this month on the 29th in case you wanna join us. ;)

Very nice game with beautiful graphics and a fun core mechanic!

I was really impressed with the solid level progression and thought the mechanics were introduced well and used in interesting ways. Having the game be segmented but still feel like one long continuous level also was a good choice! (I would change the wording of the pause button from “restart level” to “load last checkpoint” tough, I was really scared to press it. xD)

I collected almost all the coins on my first run and went back for the few I missed right away. Don’t wanna spoil but I think the reward you had for collecting them was pretty cool. :)

If I had to criticise something I thought instantly dying from spikes even when walking into them from the side as well as one part of the level where enemies would fall on your head were a little frustrating. I also encountered some bugs in one room full of boxes in particular where you could get stuck in between them and they would sometimes slide to the side and make it impossible to pass. Overall, everything worked quite smoothly tough.

Thanks! :)

¡Muchas gracias! Voy a echar un vistazo a tu juego. ;)

Very fun game, good job!

Very enjoyable game with a great concept.

I think the button hitboxes could be made a little bigger. I sometimes felt like I should’ve hit them but didn’t. Other than that, top!

I personally liked it (except for the icons) but I’m interested to see what you have in store. 😉

Fun and charming game, good job!

I think one thing that could make it more interesting would be making the strength of the attacks depend on the timing of the presses and/or adding some attack cooldowns.

Thank you so much!

We‘re actually planning to organize a Rolli Wars tournament at our university’s Christmas party. :D

Cool game with an interesting concept. Love the art-style and “voice acting”. :D
