Nice game! Liked the idea with the respawn and the level design is pretty good. The audio on the punch felt a bit off especially is you spam a bit, but it's a minor thing.

I loved this game it was awesome! I really liked, well everything! Fantastic job!
Nice take on the theme! I like how it actually encourages you to get hit by other enemies :) The graphics and pixel art look great, too!
interesting game design. The theme was engaging and added to the overall fun of the game. The graphics were not so colourful but overall fine.
Enjoy the concept, with different forms jumped into as you die.
Nice art style and feel.
Got a bit lost and confused for a bit, but started to work things out :).
Great job, well done!
I love how new puzzle elements are slowly introduced, and the graphics, sound design and music are all great, especially when you are reborn. I think the purple block hole-filling mechanic could have been tutorialised more clearly (it took me an embarrassingly long amount of time to figure out how they worked, whoops). Overall, great job - I had lots of fun.
I really loved the level design and the way you connected the theme to the game mechanics! Really well done!!
You should seriously continue developing this game after this jam ends. It has some real potential!
The puzzles were a bit too easy in my opinion, but I liked it all overall!
Very cool concept of turning into your enemy as you die. Great job.
i enjoyed the game, the reincarnation of the player is an innovative idea. you also took the time to explain all the commands and how to play well. i appreciated that too.
Cool concept! When I was thinking about the theme I thought about something similar for some time! I wish there were some hints about what different robots could do because I figured about purple robot only by accident. Music and art style are great!
Clever game! Fits the theme well. I really like the 16x16 pixel art and the distorted 8-bit music and sounds. Some kind of intro animation for the story and/or instructions could be a good add-on if you decide to develop it further.
Switching the player is a nice idea! I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do - I assumed there was something about the color-coding, so perhaps a short tutorial would help newbies like me.
Super cool idea. I think there could be more direction for the player, it was pretty unclear what to do and what did what. I also think it would be cool if each robot had more than just 1 function but that probably isn't realistic.
Thanks for checking it out! That's a great suggestion, we actually had some other functionality in the works for the robots but it just wasn't in scope for the jam. We actually had made some crab robots that were going to be roaming around that could only be destroyed by the destroyer form. We're likely to patch in some more abilities after the jam!
Very cool spin the concept! Art was great and audio replicated. Though, like many of the comments below, it took me quite a bit to get the hang of the game as I didn't know moving the purple blocks into the sockets was a pivotal mechanic of the game. If this is made more clear, it would make a world of a difference.
Really a great idea with a lot of potential.
I needed a little longer to understand that you have to push the blocks into the holes. You could perhaps point out a little more to the player. Or, as in the first room, show no other way out except the block and the hole.
But after I overcame this hurdle, it was fun.
