In what way does your game fit the theme?
You play as a particle made up of quarks. These act as your ammo, your dash and your health, while you have all three you are strong but you cant last long without any quarks and many other particles seek to rip you apart.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code is written by myself.

overall, really good job! tutorial taught me what i needed to know and the titles kept it interesting to see what was going to come next! only real critique, would have liked to keep some progress on dying.

thats true for sure, but for gamejam which is more like a trailer than a full game its better for ppl to be able to reach further and get the full experience. just my opinion there :)

Very nice concept! Shooting feels very satisfying and I love the idea of picking up the shot quarks.
I kept thinking that "W" is forward, not north, but other than that I enjoyed playing it.

Oh dear, yeah its the particles not anything else lol. Thank you, im glad you like it. Ah interesting, I just went to twin-stick shooter controls but maybe making it an option to switch the control schemes would be cool to do after the jam. I will look at your game!
This is really good. My only issue was a bug that kept cropping up: the splitting enemies (mesons?) sometimes split a mini enemy outside the level; I could see the red edge of the enemy but I couldn't hit it - I had to restart the game. That being said, I loved the game itself - great visuals, SFX/music, gameplay.

Just released a fixed version of the game which should resolve the enemies getting stuck outside the arena and stopping your progress.

Thanks for you feedback! Yea I made the music restart cos the track isnt actually that long so it would then stop in the middle of while youre playing but I can see why its annoying.
Probably 1 of the most innovative game I've played so far in the jam, graphics and audio was spot on. Movement felt super fluid and smooth! Great job 5/5

I just LOVED this game, my favorite game in this jam by far. Everything is just 5/5 man, well done. Also I'm very curious about the shader used in game, do you know the name of the effect or where I can find similar implementations? Anyways this game deserves way more atention. Its actually just some post processing (lens distortion, chromatic aberration and bloom) if you look up CRT effect on YouTube there are some tutorials on it. I will check your game out I'm sure its great and dont be ashamed, you've made whole game from scratch thats already awesome! :)

Quarks are my favorite part of physics. The game is very minimalist, and pays homage to the old games for the Atari 2600.(or so it seemed to me). Of the minuses, I should note that going through the same segments of the game over and over again is quite boring. If you like. then please rate our game.
Thanks im glad you like he aesthetic of it. Fair, I think that trying to fight through all the levels in 1 go adds to the intensity. I will have a look at it.
