This is really good. My only issue was a bug that kept cropping up: the splitting enemies (mesons?) sometimes split a mini enemy outside the level; I could see the red edge of the enemy but I couldn't hit it - I had to restart the game. That being said, I loved the game itself - great visuals, SFX/music, gameplay.
