I think you did a good job with menu, graphics music and sounds..  but I am not sure how I have to play it . I am more for the realtime games..

If you wanna rate my game is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks

Great Game!

I enjoyed playing it.

If I could truly understand how to play this game, it would definitely work really well as a very good concept for the game. Other than that, I really love the graphics and the music, making it an odd but interesting game.

Nah It's not you, I only spent 6 hrs or so on level design and this was during the final crunch, some of the levels isn't winnable on hard

Wow i made a very similar idea.  I like all. You made a tutorial, something necessary haha. I like the idea of the book to know what is the objective state. Great work.

A solid submission! the movement of the game could do a little faster! also i love the art :) Oh, the book could be a toggle as well :)

Nice game!!!

Nice game, I absolutely loved the aesthetics and general feel of the game, the idea is pretty good and a really nice way to use the rewind theme, but also I felt it a bit repetitive after some time playing it, but it could be because i'm not so used to play this kind of tactical rpgs. Really nice overall game, good job!

I really enjoyed the game and the idea was extremely unique with a great idea. It was  a fun and unique experience. But I think some more time on the tutorial would have been great.  Overall,  a very good game.

Very nice! I love your take on the theme. Also I admire that you made a strategy game in just 7 days. Just one tidbit: the sounds are pretty loud and abnoxious, I don't want to hear an entire orchestral accompany when I select an unit. Other than that, really solid entry, good job!

Looks great. Very unique premise regarding the objective.

Grate fun to play! Liked the touch with reverse music.

Things that I didn't like:
The turn speed was unbearably slow. I dreaded trying something new, because it might fail and I would have to stare at the same 4 turns again.
Also a turn counter and an action order display would be nice.
I don't remember if it was communicated that you can click on an enemy to learn its next move. Perhaps you should display it by default?

This game is amazing. one of the best games on this jam. the way you implemented the "rewind"  in the game is very interesting. everything is good at this game. the music, that also has a  effect to look like it's backwards, and the levels that are challangeing enough to keep me playing more. Everything is good... except the click registration on tiles. In the rest, the game is amazing! Keep it up!

*maybe you would also like to play my submission*

Interesting idea and game. Had fun time playing.

This is a really interesting idea, and presented really nicely. Little touches, like the battle playing forward in time at the end, and the overlay being a newspaper go a long way.

As has been mentioned the music loop is a little short, but I like that you made it play backwards. Also the squares also don't always seem register your clicks, causing you to have to try and make each move multiple times.

Yo’ Templar here, the puzzles in hard mode were quite good, the black and white colors really help with the time backtracking idea, my biggest problem would be the music, which seems to become almost exponentially annoying everytime it loops, which exarcebates the trial and error of the early stages where you still haven’t fully grasped the mechanics.
Somethings to note would be: Altough black and white as I said really helped with the idea, it’s difficult to pullof without a good amount of skill to make the scenarios eye catching or memorable.

Great job man :)

this was nice. bit of brain-pain but I enjoyed it. Decided I didn't like Wells and rooted for him to die. Didn't happen for as long as I played but still one can hope
