How does the game fit the theme?
Often you have to press your luck to eke out a few more spins.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was made by me and my synths.

Alright.. just WOW
I think Ive been playing this for the past 30 ish minutes lmfaoo
Its literally gambling embodied!
Like its not even simple?? Like all the modifiers and and buffs/nerfs. Soo much going on and I just turn off my brain and gamble away. This is truly just a great game, not even just for the jam but in general
The pop sound as it goes around the circle
The decay sound
The bg music loop
Its all perfect.
I LOVE how its soo balanced, like I tried to spam certain modifiers but its not that simple. Its a BIT confusing as to how some of the modifiers work or the decay mechanic. But its understandable enough to just start gambling away
Im not gonna lie, most of the time I didnt even know what I was doing, just trying out different layouts to see what might work and what doesnt is just that cool of a mechanic
You truly did a great job!
Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed. I'm still working on it so I appreciate the feedback.
This game is simple, yet amazing. I love how satisfying everything is and how i can just jump in and play! The music is calm and perfectly fits everything! The design and atmosphere is very nicely made. 1 suggestion
Amazing Job definitely and hidden gem!
Thanks a lot! I agree with the suggestion, sometimes it's just fun to break things.
simple, but very fun. I definately had the good old Civilization feel here, just "one more spin" instead of "one more turn".
Loved how you made something that was cohesive in gameplay, sound and visuals while probably being very limited in what you can make. But that seriously is great art direction, so thumbs up!
The game idea is very creative, I really enjoyed playing it.
The "pay rent or lose" mechanics here are super cool. I love how the escalating decrement forces you to transfer out of early game synergies or else get buried. For example, I thought the "lowest becomes 6" would be super strong until I saw that I was losing 4 pips on every decay. At that point, I wish I had placed more aggressive growth options to keep up.
This game also does a fantastic job of giving the player lots of agency, even in the face of random roulette spins. I found myself experiencing the benefits (or consequences) of where I had placed some node several turns back. After a few build cycles, it really matters if you can construct a chain of "next" nodes to your desired target without clobbering some other synergistic piece.
The whole setup is very cerebral down to the nebulous synth vibes in the background. I actually kind of like the minimal visual style in this case. It does everything it needs to.
Very cool. Great work!
Wow, thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed.
I have never seen anything like this before. I was curious to see how far one could push it, to see if there is a golden setup to not fail. Nice game design!
Thanks, I've found a couple!
Loved the concept! Lost the first time but pretty quickly understood the game. My strat was putting the "go to next circle" on everything I could. I won before getting a chance to find out what whould happen if I put it in all the circles lol. Great experience.
Disaster averted! Haha, glad you enjoyed.
Super well thought out and perfectly challenging. One of the most fun games I've played for this jam so far!
This was really fun! I think it's really clever how you added the decay mechanic and made it so every single spin was trying to figure out how to outpace it, that was really enjoyable! Also simple but satisfying visuals and sounds. I had a great time (but didnt get to 100 dang). Well done!
This is so cooolllll! Super fun to puzzle out and come up with the best strategy. I managed to do a configuration of all "select next circle" circles and one "least circle goes to +6" which basically made me invincible, at least until i would have had to replace some circles. I avoided the hell out of the "duplicates clockwise" circles though because they rack up negative spins very quickly. This was fun :)
Simple style, but really interessting take on the theme - loved it! good game!
Simple but effective ! Tried to reach 100, couldn't, but still had a good time ! ^^
I was afraid I made it a little too hard!
Very fun and addicting game the last 30 minutes have flown by :)
Wow, glad you enjoyed!
Nice and Simple! I did think the effects of each node were passive, but learned how they worked after a few rounds. I would call it a nice incremental game that would be pretty fun to kill some time, epically if it were on mobile.
Thank you, that is helpful feedback. I am wondering about a mobile game.
Simple but interesting and addictive!
Great idea! Simple and engaging, you NEED to invest in this concept, really like!
For such a simple concept, this was incredibly engaging. well done!
Brilliant concept! The game feels (edit: and looks) great too. Bravo, this one feels all-but ready for a commercial release.
Thanks so much!
This is a really neat way to force you to keep changing your build constantly instead of finding one really strong combo and continuing to upgrade it. Felt a bit too at the whim of randomness for my liking but I think it's effective for what it's trying to do since luck is supposed to be an aspect of the game.
Thanks for the feedback. There was going to be some roguelike elements that worked to decrease randomness over time as well as increasing synergy options, but I wasn't able to get to it in time. So I kinda slapped ten levels on there and called it a game.
