Really polished game! I think mixing the themes of deck builder and city builder worked out really well, and think the game would've benefited from a more clear way of understanding what order each of the buildings trigger in. I didn't find as many synergies as I would have liked in a deck builder, but for something made in 7 days, this was a great experience. Well done!

Really good idle game. A little difficult getting started, but once I entered the gameplay loop, I stuck around until the end. The end goal is truly something you can only get out of a black hole. Well done!

Neat roguelike deckbuilder. I will say that the balancing is off, and my very first encounter was against a really lucky leach which didn't help. The UI is really polished, but I would like to know some more information during battle, such as what the enemy can do before they roll (may have missed this if it already exists), a way to see what cards are in my deck, and what is in the discard. Enjoyable experience, but a little tedious, Well done!

Really cool game! Everything is well made, and I enjoyed the upgrade tree. My only complaint was that it was a little slow, but other than that, amazing work for just 7 days.

Really cool game! All the meta-game moments were funny, and the dialogue for hitting the block with your head was a really well understood instinct for many gamers. The art-style changing was a good way to fit the theme, and the designs were all really nice. Great job!

Really cool little platformer/puzzle game! There were a few bugs I encountered during my time playing, but one of the biggest was the 2nd level not loading after my first attempt, and because of that I had to reload the game. Other than the bugs, the overall gameplay was really enjoyable and intuitive, and the dialogue tutorials helped out. Good work!

Nice little roguelike! The upgrades are a little unbalanced, which is completely understandable for a jam game, but there was a nice sense of progression through each room. I'm sure you've already been told, but I did notice the bug where the room would say "cleared" but there was still some enemies, but good work!

Nice little "horror" game. The anomalies were mostly each to notice, however, there were some that I had to stand near and stare at until they happened again. The final few evidence items were the most difficult to find, but the game feels polished.

Good game, although I didn't really engage with the combat mechanic, and instead made a beeline for the door in each level. I only really used the sword to push back enemies that good too close. The screen effects were really neat, and at first I thought something was wrong with my PC cause I didn't read the description. Nice work!

Short and sweet incremental game! I found the progress to be very fun, but ended up only getting the robots and neglecting the cursor upgrades. The Sun level did solve this issue, but for the rest of the planets I used the same strategy. I'd love to see different upgrades or planet effects that make the player experiment with different ways to play. My biggest critique was the Endless mode wasn't truly endless 0 / 10 (jk), other than that Great Work!

Really cool game. I did encounter a bug where I entered both zones at once, giving me the shovel in the rat dimension, but the resource gathering part was enjoyable. The ordering aspect of the game seemed less polished, but served as a good objective marker. Nice game!

That was quite an experience. The environment and ambiance really made me feel like I was in the world you created, and while the games pacing could use some work, the twist was something I really didn't expect. Nice game!

The game might take a minute to load, but here it is: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4312113

Really fun game. Starts off slow at first, but once you've hit a stride, your expansion explodes exponentially. I really liked the sounds you used for the little glorps, and that really added life into the park. Good game!

Really fun game. I didn't expect it to be as long as it was, which is really impressive for something done during a game jam. The three weapons were each fun and unique, but I didn't really use the bat too much. Nice game!

Really cool game! Everything seems really well polished, and the atmosphere fit really well. I loved the monster animation when you first try to leave, and I didn't find the puzzles too difficult. I was constantly expecting one of the stuffed animals to disappear the next time I visited one of the screens which had me on edge. Great work!

This is a really fun game, and the rules for each object can make a really Strange layout for each room. I think the online mode is really neat (although I didn't use it), and thought the speed at which you introduced each new furniture object was perfect. Great game!

Very fun game, but like most people have already said, the coin mechanic is a neat novelty but becomes a chore later in the game. As a jam game, the balancing is obviously insane, and the shield coin trivializes the boss fight. Really fun game overall, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

Very well made. The navigation pointers were really intuitive, and the ability to move while reading the dialogue filled up some of the empty space between planets. The appearance of the final planet was really good, and made it seem very intimidating. Some things I would've changed was making the fuel arrow always be on screen as maybe a slightly larger circle instead of using tab to switch, and doing some changes to the physics. For my first run I got stuck on a curved surface and was unable to move in any direction for about 30 seconds before I got unstuck. Solid game, good job!

Very cool game! The items are a neat way to give the player progress, and the chests were a great feature. The best part of the game to me was trying out each new weapon, but I was unable to get the items for slot 4 or 5 (maybe they're not in the game yet). The lack of iframes and hit indication does pull away from the experience a little when I walk into a large crowd of shadow creatures and get instantly killed. Great work!

Check it out, constructive feedback is appreciated

You executed the concept of a potion shop really well. Growing the plants was really quick, so I didn't really need to stock up on materials because I could just grow some when needed. You could sell more if you had plants in stock, but I found it easier to scam the customers on the spot. Great work!

A little difficult in the early game, but ramps up fairly quick later. The events are also a nice touch that keep you on your toes. It may have benefited me to ignore some issues to get more profit in the long term. Well done!

Really good game. The art was amazing, and the different slimes reminded me of the types in Slime Rancher. The puzzles were somewhat simple and could've been solved through brute force, but I would argue that's a good thing for a jam game. Great work!

Great game! The little notepad on the side was a really nice touch that you didn't have to add, but made the game feel a lot more polished and fun. I did notice that sometimes I would get the same answer when questioning which may or may not be a bug. Nice work!

Great concept and fun game loop. My only complaint was that I couldn't freely move the camera around. The arrow pointing back when you find a carrion really helped out. Well done!

Very cool game! My strategy ended up being to peak 4 cards immediately and pick the option that had more. If I saw two of each, I would use a power up. I did end up losing a round because I used an item to flip two cards but tried to guess after flipping one. I only found out after the time ran out that this is what happened. Great job!

Very well polished game! My only complaint was that I could only view the three tutorial levels (not sure if there are more) You introduced some really good platforming mechanics that can be built upon in future levels. Well done!

Nice little platformer. I am one of the people who fell down the giant grasshopper pit, but I stuck it out until the end. The difficulty could use a little balancing between the "characters" we control, but other than that well done!

The game is pretty cool, and the concept of making it easier every time you lose is neat. It does however, make me wonder if it's better to lose on purpose, however, I haven't played it too long to see if there is a limit. Good work!

I really enjoy games like these, however, while I was playing this game, the reproduction chance seemed a little low. I found it better to just keep resetting each day with the starting people to earn the most. The prices also seemed very high, and the wizard had an absurd amount of health. I did enjoy playing it for a solid amount of time, but I can see it be improved upon a lot. Well done!

Overall this is a really fun game. It was a little easy at the start, but once the more complex enemies got introduced, there was some level of difficulty. I would personally prefer a bit more challenge, however, it is really engaging. Great job!

I personally thought the game had an okay level of difficulty, however, it would be a little less frustrating if there was a checkpoint before the boss. It took me 3 runs after first seeing the boss before finally beating it, so take that as you will.

Really fun concept. Reminds me of some old flash games, and had a really polished feel to it. Really well done!

(1 edit)

Great game! I'm not the best at minesweeper, but I do know some of the rules, and I felt like I was getting a lot of 50/50's that resulted in deaths. The prices also seem to skyrocket every time which makes it difficult to climb back up once you start losing. Good job!

Nice little platformer. I can see you expand upon the mechanics you introduced, but everything here is well polished. Well done!

You made some changes to the original game which helped it fit the theme better. Good job!

Really good game. I do wish there was some kind of counter I could see to visualize how much damage each impact was doing. Well done!
