How does the game fit the theme?
Hurricane hunting is high risk activity that saves many lives, and the pilot takes escalating risks as the game progresses. Also to be cheeky the plane is named the Biscuit.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I reused a game jam template I made that has basic scripts for loading scenes, playing audio, etc
I adapted a FPS controller for Godot found here https://www.reddit.com/r/godot/comments/xifuwn/basic_first_person_controller_v1_for_godot_4/
I used sounds from itch and Pixabay
Skybox from itch https://screamingbrainstudios.itch.io/cloudy-skyboxes-pack

All other code and assets by me

YO another game about storms! I love how we both made games about similar things, but at the same time they’re very different. I really like the gameplay and atmosphere: it perfectly captures the feeling of being inside a storm.

This is so amazing. Mini games leading to a meta game, and the storm getting worse making things more difficult. I think I had a heart attack when I first mis-dropped and died. The atmosphere is so perfect and immersive.

One major gripe I have; no full screen!

Otherwise fantastic, so well done

Brilliant game! Literally felt like I was storm chasing, especially when the turbulence and lighting started. Only thing I would recommend is lowering the hight of the player or raising the height of the consoles. Otherwise, good job! 🙌🌩️

The atmosphere was built up really well, and the lighting made it even better. I only made it about halfway since I kept getting a bit lost in the darkness, but it was still a fun experience. Great work!

Very nice and immersive, the lighting was really good throughout.

The mechanics and minigame and navigation was really intuitive, did not need much text at all to explain.

The only "bug" I had was picking the sticks and sometimes they would disappear into the shadow realm.

Congrats on the great work!

Super immersive stuff! I reached the end, I don't know if my character survived... cool setting and interpretation of the theme. Nice work!

Tense and haunting atmosphere!

Really immersive with very minimalistic approach. Huge Iron Lung vibes. (I just sadly didn't find a way to get fullscreen in web version)

I like how details like weather changing and plane wobbling forge the experience, great job!

very immersive gameplay!!! and sad ending :(

I liked the game. The concept of a hurricane hunter fits perfectly for the theme in my opinion. The sounds and the changing  skybox also build a great ambience. Good job!

I love a game where you're a guy in a vehicle operating it.

The ambience is really good, the problem is that I didn't understand the ending, it just returned to the main menu

The setting is very well done, and the idea of the game seems creative to me

Interesting story and would have loved to be able to play through. Managed to load and drop one probe, but then couldn't load another one. In the weather, I couldn't see anything most of the time, because the screen was too dark and flickery. Loved the sound.

The ambience / storm effects are great! It really feels like you're flying through a storm while doing the minigames.

Loved this, the changes in atmosphere when you enter the storm and then again after the "final" dropsonde were really good! Only real feedback I can give would be to add a fullscreen button, but other than that it was a very nice experience :)

Really liked the terminal minigames, made me feel anxious with the stormy ambience

When the sky turns red you know you summoned cthulhu. A good iron-lung type game where imagination does its magic. I enjoyed it !
