Nice game! I did not read any of the other reviews nor did I pay close attention to the screen shots so I was totally thrown off guard when the game gave me the ability to use a flashlight, which could only mean one thing!

Loved the art style. It reminded me of online games I used to play as a kid. Making the bombs also do damage to the enemies was an incredibly strong choice.

You would have loved the original audience. First draft had the stands packed, but I was worried it was making the loading time too long so I cut the numbers down significantly.  I'm not sure if it made a difference but I didn't have the time to really test it.

After the jam, I'm gonna upload a bug fixed version, and maybe I'll try to add back the audience to see if it actually makes a difference. Thanks for playing!

This may come as no surprise, but I really enjoyed the speed. Also, the lobotomy mechanic was really amusing.

Loved the production value. It was really fun to get a cookie after killing an enemy that you can then flip in the next round.

Not at all. Realistically, it would need a bit more polish with the UI/UX, like feedback to the player (both in terms of information and tactile effects) and maybe a bit more mechanical depth, but like absolutely the core mechanic is rock solid and the polish/production value you already have is really good. You guys hit it out the park with this one.

Excellent. Thanks again for your help. Gonna have to fix that bug after the jam haha

Nice!! Congratulations on the score and thanks for playing! Glad you had fun.

Hahaha I'll have to try that speed after I've had my coffee.

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it. A leaderboard would be awesome but unfortunately I have no idea how to implement one and I just ran out of time. Maybe if we decide to work on it after the jam, I'll add one.

Nice!!! Congrats on the score!

And yeah, I think you're totally right. For this game I was trying a new way of handling movement and it looks like I'm just not taking delta time into account. After the jam, I'm gonna dig back in and see if I can fix it so it runs at the correct speed.

Thanks for playing, and thanks for the advice :)

Very fun and beautiful game! Really captures the spirit of a dog haha

Awesome! I'm glad you had fun!

I had a lot of fun playing this. I appreciate the clarity of the instructions and how they did not require a lot of explanation but made sense immediately as they came up on the UI. I liked the challenge of the speed the character goes through the vents, and the use of the health/"food" bar as opposed to an insta-kill. I was also surprised to find that I enjoyed the combat, though I will say that I wasn't totally sure if in order to attack the other characters whether I had to move over them or click on them. That being said, it worked out anyway. Nice work!

Yup, that's the bug. If you want to see how the game is supposed to look, we found that if you set your monitor's refresh rate to 60hz, that might help. But yeah, that's a bug with the movement code, it's not supposed to be that fast haha.

Anyway, thank you so much for the video, it was really helpful. hope you get some good sleep!!

If I may ask, how fast is it exactly? We realized that on our friend's machine, it seems to run at like twice its normal speed (to the point of unplayability) and we don't really know why. Trying to figure out how common this bug is.

Really fun! Reminds me of Icy Tower from back in the day.

Solid loop and intuitive controls. Plus the art is really nice!

Love the mechanic of the pickups being used as currency.

Very chill game with pleasant art!

Very chill little game. I really liked the popup UI for the different tasks.

Done and done :)

You did a great job with this. Nice little adventure game. Knocking over the cookie  display was fun too!

Really nice shooter, and the upgrades/risk feels really consequential.

This game is fantastic. Beautiful art design with simple but engaging mechanics. Definitely going to come back to this one and play it more deeply later.

Very unique mechanic with cute art!

You have a really excellent intuition for game design. With just a few mechanics, you created a series of levels where I really felt pushed to take risks that felt great when they paid off.

Great mechanic. It was a lot of fun to try and line up a shot to hit multiple enemies at once.
