I beat it first try. The production values are good, but I thought it was not difficult, so such a game would require more push/pull for a bigger release.

The credits were a nice touch!

I think the art and effects were in the right direction but would require more, I got some Remedy game vibes here (thinking Control), with detailed environments, whiteboards. What kind of gameplay loop could be attached to this? I am not sure

But for the strange vibe this is a nice starting point! Nice work!

Nice game! rated and left a comment!

This is scary, specially the footsteps! I really enjoyed the ps1 aesthetic as well

It struggled a bit on the first run for the web.

Good stuff!

I really enjoyed your game and left a comment there!

Heres my tech demo 3d platformer

Truly the strangest game I played, it gave a lot of the vibes that "Thank goodness you are here" gave me. The breaking stuff is really satisfying.

Also surprising amount of locales and the mirage effect was surprising, felt right in place in the desert.

This is good stuff!

Amazing work!

Yes the death sound was me. I had planned to add a few more, but did not get enough time. Much like mario, I think 3D platformers needs to use and throw an idea fast and explore and mix many such ideas. That would be the goal if developed further.

I never thought of having a reason to control the mounts, that would be  an interesting topic to explore.

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Really nice game, I played until the green level where the enemy placement was tricky, the runback is brutal! I gave up after 3 tries.

My wish was faster movement, which would require changing a lot to maintain difficulty.

the crayon effect is nice

The quality is off the charts. This is only few iterations away from a polished full release.

For a full release, more would have to be done on the gameplay front and an overarching narrative maybe?

This is quality through and through, congrats!

Yes, precise jumping is off I noticed, I optimized it more for speed and covering big distance.

Thanks for playing!

Really nice game design, the old school CRT aesthetic is great.

The swipe effect is cool, though does not add too much yet.

Congrats on a great game!

Here is my tech demo inspired by control resonant.
The wall climb/gravity shift took all my time, so there was no time for level design.

Edit: wow dude your game is insanely good! The game design is the best I have seen yet!

I found it a bit too dark to navigate, I usually keep my monitor on lower brightness, and I could barely see. I think it was intended but nice.

I thiin object pick up and click mechanic was not obvious (I was right clicking) but once I got it, it was smooth going.

I locked myself on the button that opens a small space.

Great work and cool concept!

Inspired by gravity bending Control Resonant.

A really nice game that fits the theme perfectly.

The police are a bit too op I think and I felt the model was vibrating while moving, which felt jank even though overall was smooth.

The strange planets are great

I also did not expect myself to be kaiju size and humans being like chihuahua size.

Congrats on creating a cool game!

Nice work.

The atmosphere is dark, but some actions are goofy

It is a bizarre strange place.

The death animation is pretty funny too!

I had one run where someone extended their leg and I fell down, I never got that again

Really cool game!

Thanks for playing  :)

Really slick game!

my only annoyance was losing inputs when the multipliers?/upgrade screen showed up mid jump or something

It would also sometimes delete one of the inputs.

But the movement is really great and the shoot for boost is a rush!

Congrats on making a cool game!

Really good looking art and your page looks great!

There were lot of rules that had to be discovered, which was fun but I think it should be ramped up in complexity in a slower fashion for the full release.

Congrats on making a cool and interesting game!

Im sorry for not adding instructions, you can mount the spider by pressing q and then jump on to the wall to walk on it

Really interesting puzzles
The first few were forgiving with lot of boxes, I felt those could be more difficult.

The later puzzles there was a lot going on, some I did not like initially but felt satisfied after finishing.

The last credits screen, I did not get to read much before it turned black.

Congrats on creating an engaging  experience!

I liked this game a lot

It feels really good to play, really good stuff.

The power scaling also feels good.

I actually bought all 3 items in the first level, so gold after that was not of much use.

Congrats on releasing a really cool game!

Nice Work!

The cone on shoot led me to believe everything in that line would be targeted, but it is just the first one. Maybe that idea could be explored but then the game would have to be balanced differently.

The  only gripe I had with the game was I did not understand the accuracy, sometimes I would target something adjacent, maybe a crosshair would help?

The premise is an interesting one, would be nice to see what all could be done in the future.

Thanks for playing!
I thought I replied but it seems I forgot.
Music seems hit or miss on browser, sometimes it completely stops when I sleep other times it plays.
The release dopamine mechanic can be used to slow down time by pressing right click or q or l1/l2/lb/lt on controllers.
I had a few more powers I wanted with the bar but this is all I could ship in time.

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.

the music cutting out is because I sleep the thread for 20 to 40 ms when bullet hits the enemy or you get hit, helps with the feedback loop a bit but the issue is that the music sleeps too.

Thanks for playing and your inputs!

I tried lot of tricks to make them spawn away from the head but if you go directly toward where they spawn you can still catch it. I debated not colliding with them would be a solution but it could suddenly make them enemies a lot more deadly

I put engine level sleep for 20 ms (or impact) and that could to be what stops the music from playing, but sometimes it keeps playing. I have not figured out what causes the issue in web builds.

Really cool implementation of UI.

The place feels really good

There are a lot of improvements possible in the UI but it is really great and mostly intuitive already. I did not need much reading to figure it out.

The final boxing I did once but after that the parts in the boxes went missing not sure if bug or skill issue.

Congrats on releasing a cool game!

Thanks for playing :)

I was debating doing it with mouse but the feel was good enough and I did not allow shooting while moving so I didnt add it. But it would definitely make it smoother.

I cant take credit for the pixel art, sounds or music, almost all assets were taken off the internet (except bullets and impact which I made in aseprite :) )

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it!

There were supposed to be more mini games (task/minigame switching) made by others which unfortunately could not make it due to last minute adjustments not making it into the build. Spent the last few hours descoping the game into this one and adding some polish.

Could definitely do a lot more but me and others were definitely not good at time management.

Congrats on releasing a pretty comprehensive and fleshed out game.

The options expand a slight bit in, I reached the night and it was just a black screen, not sure if it was unfinished or a bug.

One bug I could find was a color tag with hex code going across a few dialogs in between.

AI art seems mostly consistent so congrats on making good use of that to save time, doing the same with normal art would be a lot more work.

I think I will have to also try this on my PC and monitor to better experience this game.

In my macbook 14 inch on safari:

- The mouse icon is very inaccurate (the hover doesnt look like a pointer so I was confused initially that I could not click)

- The mouse icon is too big and the rest of the game is too small (the menu size is perfect though)

- I could not hear any music (I could see the icon on my browser so could be an issue with my browser)

Some of them could also be a problem of fullscreen not behaving properly (top left logo was cut out in game)

For the good parts:

The art looks really cool and beautiful

The vibe is chill and cozy

There seem to be tons of options (I will admit I did not play far enough)

Congrats on releasing a beautiful game!

I am curious which engine did you use (or is it your own)

Few criticisms:

- The embed is too large for my laptop screen

- Full screen stops showing all the hud elements and options also doesnt show up in full screen so the experience was not optimal for me

I liked the switching part, would be nice to have the info also in the description (since it doesnt show up in fullscreen).

Congrats on releasing a game!

Very high attention to detail! and a lot of Dr K references.

I enjoyed the persona style time management.

Actually the first time I have seen renpy game in a Jam, there are saves too

Great work!

Really fun auto clicker on adderall type game.

I am surprised at he economy of how fun it was with less features.

Great work!

2 things I wish for:

- How to get started with seeds (there was a comment forttunately)

- I can drag the map around took a long time to figure that one out.

I think a better description would help a ton.
