How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme of "Nothing Can Go Wrong" because... EVERYTHING CAN GO WRONG!!!
In this game you play as a bank robber attempting to navigate many different traps and puzzles to make your way into the bank vault. These puzzles will greatly test your wit and memory.

****Known bugs that will affect your game****
- you cannot crouch and hold an item at the same time. If you need to do this, crouch walk to where you need to go, and then equip your item
- the front door of the bank (the first door to your right as you exit the tutorial room) can be opened with the key marked 'blue key'. Don't do this, there's nothing out there and the game is unfinishable if you do it
- when reading notes, if you tab out of the game (to for example, cheat and write down information in notepad ;)) when you return to the game make sure you return by clicking back on the note otherwise you won't be able to close the note
- the note with the map drawn onto it seems to be completely bugged and sometimes just won't close at all. Unfortunately the only way to avoid this is to simply remember the map (or grab a screenshot) and restart the game

There are some other little bugs present but as far as we know nothing that will stop you from actually finishing the game

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Used the following Asset Packs:
SYNTY Polygon City
SYNTY Polygon Heist

Royalty Free music and sound effects from Pixabay including:
Suspense Pulse Tense Music by DELOSound

Unreal Engine 5 Plugins from Fab Marketplace including:
Customizable Interaction Plugin
Advanced Inventory System

Shouldn't have rung the bell! A very polished and fun game, nicely done!

As you know a few bugs but such a fun cool concept :D

Great visuals and I liked the concept! Well done!

Looks good! Im suprised how much you guys got done within the timeframe you had. I may have gotten stuck inside of the wall at one point causing some problems, but oh well.
Fantastic job though!

The game looks great and seems interesting. The game is running smoothly on my old PC (witch is rarely the case with Unreal games). UI and control are good. But I am a bit frustrated  because I can't barely see my surroundings. It's just because the flash light do not follow camera (that is supposed to be where we are looking at), so I did not go very far.

Very well scene set up, didn't get very far, took me like 8 tries to figure out i had to crouch.. since i expected wall lasers to be lower so thought i had to dis activate them somehow. Very hard to really look around when its dark and the flash light is not first person controlled. You can probably add like a grey light so it adds like a dim over the game scene.. where it still dark but with more visibility. Might give it a try later cause it is cool concept and wondering what sort of puzzles you have set up. congrats on your first game!

Very fun and well made! The first time I made the alarm go off I instantly killed my eardrums and I didn't see an option to lower the volume, apart from that great job!

Love the design of the level. Had fun playing it despite it being quite hard. I also feel the character controls abit weird. With more balancing and bug fixing, this could a good complete game. Great work!

Really great game! I’m super impressed by how much you did. I rang the bell at the counter after sneaking past the cameras and then got caught XD

Quite ambitious for a game jam team with little unreal experience! I got caught :( had fun regardless!

Pretty difficult, but very interesting as an idea! Nice work.

I like the level alot, it is well designed and also the game idea is definitely eye catching! Had issues with camera clipping through walls, character rotating with mouse and camera position. With all these set correctly I think it will be alot more smooth experience for players so that we can get game feel.
But overall, I liked what you guys came up with in this short time, Well done !

Thank you for the positive feedback, and highlighting the issues around camera clipping, it is a known bug  and has been an ongoing struggle!

I was kinda lost but eventually figured it out! Tough but enjoyable! Great job!

Thank you for your feedback, we had tried to implement on-screen tips to provide some initial guidance, but they are a bit buggy :(

I like the idea of a stealth heist game. Cool concept !

PS : The tripwires scared me a lot of times

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, I'm a big fan of our tripwire!

Corrected the name of the interaction plugin used in Mission Crimpossible

I like the idea but it lacks direction, leaves you wandering in the dark (literally) without direction or a clear indication of where to go, and if you mess up you have to restart which kills the whole progression completely, also a small bug but u can steal a key thru the left wall at the first security camera lol

Developer(+1)

Thank you for highlighting the bug, and the importance of providing some sort of direction in-game, we will keep that in mind for future work!

Turns on light and sees I'm a roster. Turn off light again. XD
My number of failed attempts are too many lol, it was a fun experience.
I liked the style and sounds in your game. :)

Developer

Thank you for the positive feedback - my number of failed attempts are also sky high!

We've fixed some minor bugs that were making the game unfinishable - Please play the newly uploaded v1.1_MissionCrimpossible_MinorBugFix file.
