The art design is perfect! The game was a bit challenging at first but after I got the hang of it it was perfect, great submission

How does the game fit the theme?
These precious objects doesn't look secured at all... I think i could steal some of them-
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None

Looooooooove the character design ^_^ so good & cute! Cool concept although quite trial and error-y
Giving up at this level, it's too much, I wish I could atleast see the machines that spawn the lasers before the level starts :'(
Also the level before that, was I really supposed to drop the platform from up high and jump on it while it falls? Or was there an other solution? :O

That's a really nice game I liked it. I had a bugs few times with the spring/jump pad where I place it and when I play the level it disappears. The art style is really great and the music too. Well done !
Really enjoyed this. The die to learn mechanic is nifty and provides instant feedback to the player. I admit I couldn't steal the fish, that's where I stopped. I really love the art, sound and general gameplay loop. You did a fantastic job. GG.
Nice visuals music and mechanics of the items, i enjoyed the game alot, my only problem is that i had to die always to see how to put the things down =(
Loved it! Very polished and fun, the levels are getting complex more and more. Once I understood the mechanic, it was a treat! Maybe because I'm using an ultra-wide monitor, the items section was too big and got over the level. It wasn't a big problem because it's a bit transparent but maybe check that.
Great job!
What an incredible polished lil project! As others have said, the main crutch is replacing the objects after reloading the scene, keeping them in place after would elevate greatly the game feel! Nice submission!
Wow, big props on making the whole game with just your own assets! I really appreciate that your game doesn't crash my itch app when I play it, and I enjoy that I get to just retry levels over until I get them right! I did get to a level where I just couldn't figure out what to do so I left, but I also appreciate that you have it set up so I could go back to where I was and try again if I wanted. Looking at a lot of different game setups, it's really nice you thought of these things and got them working well, where some games I can't even get out of them without just force-closing the app. Also, the game fits the theme really well whereas a lot of games I've tried I don't see the relation. Way to go!
Very cute game. The idea is great. I think the placing of the tools and the traps being fully invisible can definitely get a little bit frustrating when it comes to getting through the more complex levels though.
A wonderful and cute game! Love the background music and the art. I think the only thing that could be improved with is being able to know what traps are going to happen. It gets repetitive going to collect the item just to die or return to main menu to restart if you get stuck. Either that or just having the inventory stay after collection would be nice too :3
Fantastic level design on this one. However, I think the task of having to parkour through the level, pick up the item just to see what the traps are, then having to redo the level is a bit tedious. Overall I think it's a very solid game and very creative use of the few items at our disposal. I also think it could've probably have a bit more straight forward of a tutorial, found myself being confused for a bit.
Great puzzle platformer. The solution(s) were never too obvious and felt rewarding to discover. Some of the platforming was a bit clunky (ceiling bonks and ropes getting stuck in walls), but everything else was superb! Fantastic visuals with a groovy background track. Wonderful!
Really interesting puzzle platformer with awesome art and music. A real gem, nice work!
A nice puzzle game, and I usually don't enjoy the genre. Here are some points as they come raw from the intuitions of an idiot playing your game (me). I think there were some levels I felt bogged down because I didn't exactly realize why the grapple zipline wasn't activating, before realizing on my 15th try that it needed to have a surface to shoot to.
The visuals, UI, and sounds are very nice and cozy, and the character art is especially nice. Overall great submission and I wouldn't be surprised to see others wanting this game expanded on for more levels or gadgets!
Thank you! The zipline was one of the least understood items, and it is probably because it didn't have an introduction levels like the others and went straight to using it in a puzzle. I saw this but I didn't think it would be that much of an issue, turns out game design really can't be ignored ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Really clever game, it fits perfectly with the theme and the puzzles are well designed. I Love the visuals and the sound effects too. Excellent game!
Definitely like the idea to keep prop locations from previous attempts. I had a lot of fun with this one though, really polished and good puzzle designs. Props for making everything from scratch too!
Fun game! I like the idea of preparing my escape! The only down is that I ended up dying a lot and had to place all the props back, an option to copy the prop from last try would be great!
This game is awesome! First thing first, the art is fabulous! The pixel art is so nice, why do you even take the time to draw each artwork in each of the levels! The main character is also so adorable, kinda want a plush of it ngl. The puzzles and level designs are nicely done, and there are so many levels with challenge levels too. What a treat! As a puzzle game lover, this makes me very happy. I like this very much!
The are a few issues/suggestions I would like to bring up. The item snaps to an invisible grid is very nice, but I would really want to see that grid too. It can be just when you are placing objects, as it's quite difficult to locate the exact same position you want to put them in. Paired with the fact that you will probably play the same level with the same setup over and over again, it would be nice if that could reduce some of the repetitiveness of the game.
Some of the physics-based puzzles are kind of harsh, and it seems like even with the correct solutions it will take multiple tries to complete. It makes the player worried that their solution may not be the correct one and try another solution, and that is not really a good feeling, especially when you are playing a puzzle platformer. I will also suggest cutting out the first walk from the door to the treasure after you first reset each level. It's nice to have the player walking through the levels the first time around, setting up the stage and everything, but since it's not a part of the challenge it sort of becomes chores after a few resets. Just spawning the player next to the treasure afterwards should not take away much from the game, and will put the player straight back into the action. It can also remedy the frustration players get when they are dying over and over.
Anyway with all that's said, this is a very good entry! Haven't seen much good puzzle games so far in the jam, and I am enjoying every second of the game! Well done!
Thank you so much for this amazing feedback! I gotta agree, a plush of the character would look so cute xd
The grid is indeed a very nice idea definitly going to be added if i continue the game ^^ aswell as the respawn, which honestly i just reloaded the whole scene because this wasn't my main focus for the short time i had. I might not make the player instantly respawn next to the object, but definitly a faster way to retry a level!
I'm so happy you enjoyed the game that much, this comment will be shared with my team ^^
