Love the art style and the boss designs. Augment system and destructible terrain is also really cool. Be interested in seeing what you guys decide to do with the game in the future.

Ran into a similar bug to se1end where after I died I had to watch the opening cutscene again, but after it ended I was teleported straight into the tortoise fight with no weapons. Able to work around this by reloading the itch page though.

Game was really fun. Loved the opening cutscene.

Character controls/speed felt a little awkward at times.

This could be right at home in south park or 12 oz. Mouse, a really unique art style that evokes nostalgic feelings. The opening cinematic could be right out of some 2000s show, really cool. On the first boos the stage reminds me of worms and then...the stage began to break, I was so happy.  I can tell that a lot of love went into this. Great game!

I liked the idea and the upgrade system. When I died, the game started from the beginning, but without the moment where the snail gives a weapon, so all that was left was to take damage and die in an endless loop.

Nice job bug catching, appreciate the feedback!

Really wild ideas and an eclectic, yet compelling visual design! I would recommend you focus on polishing the character control a little more. Currently, jump feels too floaty, and movement and attacking a little too slow. But this is a great start, nice work!

The visual and sounds are nice, I like the background animation during the boss entrance and the opening cutscene. The gameplay are nice too, the claw destorying environment is pretty cool.

The bosses are fine, those I feel like the damage of the explosive attack from the second boss is a bit too much, and there is a bug where after I restart, I enter the bird boss right away without any weapons. Still, the first two boss are fine.

Anyways, nice game!

There is something really strange and unique about this game. The whole vibe of this got me hooked. I'm not sure what, also destructible terrain was something I was not expecting, just adds to the experience. Telepathy slug, abduction and rats. Nice work xD

I really love the art style, I’ve never seen a game that looks like this. It’s so absurdist and strange, but in a really intriguing way. It gives me 2008 flash-game vibes.

I wasn’t able to kill the bird, I must be doing something wrong but it felt like it would take ages to chip it down with the goo cannon. The other two bosses were both really visually interesting, and the destructable terrain was cool too.

Also I love the intro cutscene. Everything about the art in this game is so cool and different. Nice job!

The story had me hooked instantly! I am RUBBISH at the combat haha
But really liked the destructible terrain, thought the sound design was v well done too :D

It's a fun game, love the visual style of it, very unique.

Combat system needs some work. Addition of story elements make the game better, Good entry.

Very nice game nostalgic for me, u ask me why?? becoz it reminds me of the old flash games who had a ton of greaaatt art and static mechanics. Pretty Funny game tbh.

Cool game! I like the story book feel to the art, it was interesting to look at. Fun game! Thanks for making this

Pickle Rick Simulator, great concept and visuals reminds me of cruelty squad, and a cyberpunk touch, the gameplay is very strange, the game has a lot of bugs and the systems doesnt work properly, besides that its a funny game.

Really nice visuals! Also, great job making the destructible terrain, makes the bosses way more dynamic. Good job!

its a wild one :D love the aesthetics. but i didnt made it past the first boss and i got frustrated over having to restart it always over again. i also somehow landed into a bossfight without weapons once? it has potential, the destructive level had me nostalgic for worms armageddon loved that and the character animations where awesome.

something i would look into is the speed of the player. it feels a bit heavy and draggy, im sure to make him a bit faster and more responsiv would increase the fun a lot. but maybe thats just me

Interesting art style, the bosses felt a bit too fast compared to the player for me, I would also endup lost some times but I guess is because I forget to use the zoom lol, nice intro-cutscene and tutorial, good job!

Bosses felt dynamic, and it was cool how the levels were destructable

Fun, quirky story with charming art direction. I couldn't quite figure out the upgrade system, but it was an interesting take on the theme overall!

Developer

A hint (current bug?): The health upgrade can be purchased between every round. Weapons and boot upgrades must be exchanged. The final few hours before deadline brought forth interesting last minute priority decisions, and there is much content yet to be implemented.
