I fear I got pets and even worse... I might have enjoyed it.

heya. cool game was fun! idk if i saw everything. felt like it. i think hitboxes could be a bit more generous (on both sides) exploring the map was nice and the game was quite pretty. combat felt a bit awkward a lot of jumping around and missing flowers. also some more modifiers for spells would had been cool. but hey its a gamejam you did great.
for someone who is not into jump & runs i had a very good time with it. felt nostalgic and i could see myself playing a full game like this on a gameboy (probably while taking a dump). you really nailed the gameboy aesthetics and gameplay feeling. the teleporting back in time was a good mechanic for some well crafted riddles. nothing too hard or too time consuming perfect lenght for a gamejam game. well done. only thing i might have to add is that its a bit weak on the theme. timeloop i guess but at the end i dont mind its a good game.
fun game. good pacing right at the moment when you have seen everything and it starts to get a bit boring it ends. well done! also exactly the right amount of difficulty which is impressiv. the animations and arts are all lovely made and everything feels juicy. i felt less like a evil necromancer and more like the poor minion of one carrying all those corpses all day.
i really liked the idea of this game and would love to enjoy it but the controls are killing me. the attack feels not controlable enough for my taste i could kill him easy with smacking back the projectiles if there was no timeout but close combat feels horrible to me. skill issue i guess. other than that i think it has some great potential the whole loop storyline is awesome and the dialoge is well written. arts are also very nice and i liked the boss attack pacing.
cool thats a pretty unique style i like it! im also switching to godot at the moment! looking forward to see what you will create in the future! oh and have you played wheel of torment? managed to win a solid price in a big gamejam with it! i think its nice to see that turbowarp games can compete with other engines in a gamejam environment.
I had a lot of playtesting and my conclusion was just make the game so easy that I don’t enjoy it myself anymore :‘) Playing gamejam games is exhausting so I didnt want to make it frustrating.
You can still go for the challenge mode if you want the original intended experience it will make dodging a lot more important!
Thanks for playing!
Very polished and fun to get into. sadly very repetitiv gameplay and for me way too much hp on the boss. but i guess thats no problem for people who enjoy this kind of combat (maybe i was just to bad highest damage i dealt was 300?). For me half the HP would had been enjoyable since there is not much else going on but doing the same thing over and over again.
The story was entertaining and super well executed (some one references in the artstyle?). The sound was smashing but due to the long hpbar also somewhat repetitive.
Sorry if I sounded harsh im sure you got a good amount of deserved compliments already so im just trying to find things you might want to work on in the future.
Nice game. I had fun with the different ways to dodge attacks and the animations and visuals where super good. UI could had been better and a healthbar for the player would had been nice to have. The use of the theme was rather weak. still quite enjoyable
Something you need to fix is that the reload sound is not bound to any soundcontrols so I had to tune the sound down but reloading was still super loud.
