My favorite are the visual and how you used the assets, gameplay wise feels very good, only complaint is the boost release sound thats a bit agressive but I understand its hard to work with limited sfx. Awesome game!

Cool adventure, interesting narrative/ending aswell. Gameplay wise I liked it, even tho is a bit hard to predict where the enemies will be the knockback makes it very funny.
The boss battle took me a couple tries but eventually got it, for some reason my blaster wasnt shooting, I remember picking up 2 of them in the previous room so there should be enough ammo.
Overall is a fun game to play, I also like the variety you added using the boulders and spikes breaks the monotomy of only killing enemies. Congrats!
Quite an unique mechanic, Im awful at puzzle games but was able to understand it and finish the game due to your great tutorial/introduction.
The only confusing part for me is the key having no tiles underneath, I saw that you introduced it a level before the puzzle but I didnt realize it at the time so I just thought it was floating lol.
Short but well executed game, great work!
Great controlls, I like all the camera movement adds a lot of impact. I just feels its too punishing sometimes, level 1 was perfect but 2 and 3 were quite hard, lots of repetitive precise jumps on last section of level 2 which made me lose my mind a little xD but eventually got it. At level 3 I was completely lost at first then saw the iceblocks on top and understood the mechanich (which is quite cool), but at the transition from the first key to the second I would end up falling at the ice path due to imapacience.
The looks are great and again the controls are responsive but for me if you kept the keys after diying or there were checkpoints in the level it would have been 10/10. But great entry and is great to see a 3d game made with these assets.
I was able to finish it quite smoothly, feels good to spam the chicken attack lol. My only complain is that the background of the first levels are a bit noisy, you need to focus a little to distinguish it.
I like how you used purely jam assets even on the UI and having a boss fight and a leaderboard for your first game is quite impressive, congrats!
Nice entry, its like 2 games in one. I feel like the first and second islands are a bit harder than the others (at least for me who doesnt play puzzle games) but overall the puzzles feels great to solve.
The minimap and fried eggs boost make it very comfortable to explore, a great use of the art assets aswell.
I just wonder if there is an ending or if I did something wrong, because I got to the chicken island with 6/6 offerings and nothing seems to happen.
Even without triggering the ending I feel good for finishing all the puzzles and its a fun game so good work
Hello, one ending doesn't add to the counter because it's an adapted version of a previous ending.
If you count this adaptation as another ending then the game has 6 endings. We chose to do that because they are very specific to get (if you get version A probably won't get version B).
In the end it turned out a bit confusing for players and that's understandable, but anyway thanks for playing!
Hey sorry about the bug, should be fixed and I added an skip button just in case aswell as skipping part drops when all cards are bought.
1007 its very impressive congrats, I cant add it to the leaderboard as each score is tied to a player ID and by using your nickname it doesnt replace your score just adds a new one which would not let you use it but ill research more just in case.
Great presentation, I like how the music shifts to something more energetic when you start to tell the modified version, I found the game very fun only complaint the boss peak attack anticipation its a bit hard to see, especially at the beggining where both shadows blend together, but overall impressive stuff !
Very creative, as a non English speaker I have no way of guessing them correctly (only the most common that translate to my languages) but with the option to show the hidden words I had a lot of fun ! I felt like I was using one of these old writing machines lol. Mastering a prhase feels amazing with the colorfull letters standing out from the rest, I got that feeling of "only one more" when I was going to stop playing, really blow my expectations, congrats !
I like it, couldnt solve level 9 (used the skip lol) but all the others were very interesting, I like the levels were the masked guy had to push the stone around and when you only got 1 human it was just like a stealth game, nice music and art, maybe pushing statues around is a bit hard as it seem to work only if you are at the side but overall very fun to play !
Pretty interesting, I like how each troop has very distinct features, the elves are my favorites as it would be easy to just make them shoot the closest enemy but the detail of having them match the height level is so cool. Good music aswell and the grandparent names with their position on the screen are another neat details.
The music is very good, liked the text box with the character portrait, its interesting to have a limited amount of actions to do stuff. Maybe being able to see how much the things that you cant buy cost could be usefull as in the first playthough I was wondering how much the veggetables cost and couldnt see it as I didnt have money. Nice art aswell !
Going to stay just like Matthew lol, im not a fan of rage games but the level design is very clever with the way it introduced different gnomes and then twisting their mechanics. The same goes to the enviroment, it gets reused in creative ways, like in the acid with rotating platform level or in the high spike wall were you need to kill the gnomes in a certain way. Having to play the same path with diferent objectives each time its interesting and fits nicely with a rage game, especially as the king I would get nervous and miss an important jump XD
Very polished and well executed overall. I think the level up doesnt feel very good like it slows down the pace a lot, the animations/transition are cool but after seeing it 20+ times its like "pls just let me choose already". Also I wish the pet upgrades had more priority rather than the human, I had a fish and cat and was only getting boring upgrades for the human while the pets didnt have any... The idea of making the one you didnt choose an enemy its very clever, attacking feels smooth, the enemy design is pretty cool and having multiple pet options made me play more to see their abilities. Although I couldnt finish I found it fun to play and with creative ideas.
Cool theme interpretation, I think it nails the idea of folklore, platforming feels a bit hard with the high air friction but thats preference, good effects on the camera with the head bob and zooms the sound design is also neat specially the scary forest and an artstyle that I like. If theres a negative point for me is having to do the same path multiple times even with variations. Overall very solid game!
Although you said you couldnt develop it more I think its a very complete and well rounded experience, the different sections didnt feel boring as each one had a new mechanic and walking through the tiny gaps in the trees felt pretty nice, really felt like an adventure to me, good story telling aswell !
Liked the squish and squash animations, punching and burning feels pretty good, I found the idea of using only godot icons interesting and it fits well together only the background is a bit weird as it get too low res, probably a black void could fit better but thats just personal preferrence, got around 700 worshipers !
Not my favorite genre but its impressive how you finished in a limited amount of time with the complexity these games have, got demolished by the blue books but I guess its my fault as I skipped some turns accidentaly xD. Liked the skills form the charachters based on their respecive tales, pretty neat!
Interesting concept, it feels very good when an enemy fall on the trap you just placed or when you block the orbs with trees although they break them later which is pretty neat, I guess maybe a way to show how much progress you need could be good like: I got 36 humans and 28 stolen essence but idk how much is left (in case its not endless). The art is very unique and stands out, good sound design aswell !
217 was my best, it feels very polished in all aspects, I would say that maybe some turret spots are weaker than others making said turrets almost useless, I wish they could shoot inside aswell. The best part for me is shooting the revolver it feels very good ! Visually its nice and coherent, great sfx and music aswell.
