Really nice game. The concept was well executed with a nice pixel art. The final boss was a bit hard though but beating it felt really rewarding. And the combat system was also nice.

I really liked the game. The art is amazing and the gameplay is satisfying.

The only drawback is that some enemies have insanely high hp and all I do is keep hitting them for like 2 minutes and they can't really fight back.

Thanks for playing! One problem with my game is that I haven't really communicated the "right" way to play it. Others have had the same experience you had, circling around enemies for ages to beat them. Really, most of the levels can be beaten in about 5 seconds.

The high health enemies you faced actually had regeneration, so slowly taking their health is not ideal because they quickly gain it back. To take on these enemies faster, you need to lose health so your sword does more damage. At zero health, you still have a second to survive and you are at your strongest, so I recommend purposefully going down to 0 health so you can deal enough damage to kill the regen enemies. You can also check the video on my page to see how I did it.

If you wanna play the game again, I hope you have more fun with this strategy :)

Totally with the theme, the fight system is really cool and I loved the way you use the camera at the end of the levels and post processing work that you did

Great fight system with good use of the theme. Movement is a little slippy, and also I would consider making sword swinging speed changes between different life levels less significant.

Very panic inducing game. It was fun and challenging. You needed strategy to complete it. And sometimes just going crazy and jumping in head first was the best option! Neat art, solid gameplay loop, good work! I streamed it here:

The mechanic is used cleverly, every level and the weapon cooldown system induces you to use the rage mechanic. Good job :)

Great visuals, great mechanic and the use of the theme fit really well. There was a really interesting dynamic in the earlier levels with "wanting-to-damage-yourself" mentality. The blue wall idea was an amazing mechanic on its own and maybe could have been the focus of some more levels (personal preference though :D). Overall, I really enjoyed playing!

I really enjoyed playing this game. The camera change and UI transition when you beat the enemies was fantastic! I loved the mechanic pf taking risks to do more damage  it worked great in this game. I didn't mind the music too.  Great job!

Pretty fun! it good that you added the white enemies that force you to take risks, I just wish there were enemies with different chasing patterns, becuase it let up to a bit of repetition, all you really needed to do is to run in circles.

but overall pretty fun and enjoyable!
