I was considering a similar concept for this jam but didn't know how to implement it. You executed it so well, very fun!

I could keep playing for a long ass time lmao, very fun! I wish the attack direction was where my mouse is facing rather than the direction I'm moving in tho

I wanted a leaderboard too! Will work on that, but I gotta make sure I squash all the block capturing bugs first so people don't get absurd scores on there

Yea, I realize neither the game or on the game page explains what to do very clearly

Fun concept, I like the visual style too

this was an absolute BLAST!

The battery affects a mechanic that a lot of people seem to gloss over (I did not present it onscreen as an essential enough ui element). There's a meter that shows you a minimum block count before you get the 10 second death countdown, and the battery lowers this minimum for a while

Thanks! Creating a nice learning curve is still a struggle with these game jams for me, glad you got the hang of it :)

nice idea. Sometimes felt like I had no options tho

idk what's going on but i'm vibing with it. Lovely visual style and I like the concept, tho I didn't understand how to actually work with it

I loved the dynamic going on here trying to keep a certain size, how bubbles can be both good or bad and both shooting bubbles and being shot by bubbles can ALSO be good or bad! Just very cool idea. Looking at the other comments, I'm sad I forgot about charge shots

This is a really fun way to move the player. And I was surprised at the different ways you actually got interesting puzzles with this mechanic

Good implementation of the theme with this puzzle mechanic. And a nice clean visual style

interesting spin on snake

Wow, amazing concept. The method of moving the snake is super fun and unique, and I love the colors of the snake too!

The most interesting kind of 3D snake. Really cool movement, it's really fun just moving around! And the visual style is fantastic

Took me a while to realize I would unlock the rest of the notes just by killing enough. Pretty nice, I kinda wish each note had a different color

simple and very fun movement

Defintiely the best game I've played so far. Just WOW. Controls are so smooth and wonderful. And there's so much depth with the mechanic that each head has it's own ability and it costs you that node to use it. I'm stunned, this is polished out the wahzoo! 10/10

I absolutely adore the way the little microbes look and are animated, especially the long one with the tail. Reminds me of spore

Takes some getting used to, the camera moved extremely fast for me. But 3D snake is an insanely cool and fun idea!

i love it, it's like snake but with 360 degree turn control! It's nice when you get into a flow and just start schmooving all over the place

I really loved the player physics, fun to control and snappy. I also liked the theme and when bits of code were written on the screen. I'd have liked if the scaling mechanic was keyboard controlled instead of hacking to click on the buttons with the mouse.

Thanks. Yea, I did not explain the powerups at all lol dw

Thank you!

Don't worry, the 9000 was a bug. 700 is very good!

I see the vision. I did kinda just hold up and spammed space but i still liked the feeling of climbing higher and higher

Very difficult

I like the way you interact with the blocks to scale them

wow, that move squash and stretch feels AMAZING, the controls are nice and buttery smooth. Very fun

Very creative, and a lot of polish it looks so clean!

Omg this is addictive. I don't think I'll ever close the game tab

placing blocks is very satisfying

nice simple puzzle game :)

I was very interested in the idea but confused by the controls and the visuals. It felt like I could move anywhere except underground and couldn't see anything underground

Seems like a really cool battle game, tho I felt like the enemy was overpowered?

(1 edit)

Yea, I thought I had fixed that bug but clearly not! I think it only happens in a specific scenario when viruses are stopped

Very fun! Feels so polished, the movement and force from the bullets is nicely tuned

Wow, very fun mechanic, and so much polish! It's so charming :D

Very nice mechanic, good music too
