wow, awesome mechanic of transferring charge! Made for a really nice puzzle game

Submitted

I was pretty lost before at the start of the game because there was no tutorial. But, after awhile I got the keys worked out. The game had some nice puzzles and a nice mechanic. I just wish there was one more level though.

Submitted

Really loved it :)

A tutorial would be good. I realized very fast that I will need to change between the players and control both of them, but it took some time to find the key for that. Also I didn't know about the transfering mechanism, I read that after I completed the game.

Submitted

really nice, i wish there were more levels, also right now theres no real benefit of having more battery, it just makes you heavy, so maybe  some interactions like Powering doors to move, or trading your battery's power to activate lights, Theres alot of potential, Good job.

Nice mechanic!

Goog game. I like visuals and energy exchange mechanics.

Developer

Thanks for playing  :)

Getting some strong fire boy water girl vibes from this one. And that's a good game! Overall I enjoy the aesthetics - the highlight of standing on buttons is excellent, and the batteries are really clean as well. Swapping the batteries feels really nice and the camerawork is also good. The game feels a bit short though - it could use another level or two. It also felt in the earlier levels, that the heavier battery was just an annoyance to be taken care of. It would be nice if the heavy battery had some functional benefits and not just the reduced mobility. Maybe smash things it fell on top of, like glass or something like that

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :)

yes it kinda feels useless for the heavy battery, i was too focus to make the game fit to theme and forget about the heavy battery. like your said maybe i could make the heavy battery can smash things or something useful.

Submitted

It fit the theme excellently well!

This game reminds me of fire boy and water girls, great game, I would love to see an option to play co-op with 2 players, one for each battery.

Developer

i'll try to add co-op mode later after this jam. more importantly thanks for the feedback :)

Nice game, the gamelplay could maybe rely more on energy transfert mechanic (didn't have to use it to complete the game).
Love the neon art !

Developer(+1)

it was my mistake to design a level without rely on energy transfer. it kinda feel useless mechanic though.

Thanks for the feedback, Really appreciate it:)

Really interesting concept. Sadly just a few levels but I also made a puzzle platformer and I can
totally understand why it is super hard to create lots of levels. Also just as a tip from a develoepr to a developer to move your character you used transform.position (which makes collision bug a little)
Instead try using rigidbody.velocity it works much better when comes to physics and collision :D

Developer(+1)

yes it is really hard to create lots of levels and also i make the levels 3 hours before the jam is over. i should be more concern about making the levels since it is really important for this type of game. For moving a character i used transform.Translate but i never use rigidbody.velocity before but i'll try to use it later and this is also a good tip for me to make the game better. Thanks for the feedback and the tip from you, Really appreciate it :)

Good Game

But how does this fit into the theme?

Developer

in this game if the battery have less energy, it will have more jump and more move speed. Thanks for playing and the feedback :)

Submitted(+1)

Would have loved to see more levels. That's a compliment, since I wanted to play more. This concept has a lot of potentials, and I hope you explore it well after the jam.

Developer (1 edit)

yes i'll add more levels after the jam is over because it is really important to make more levels for this type of game.

Thanks for playing & your feedback. Really appreciate it :)

Love the game and idea, but I think it could've used some music. Great game though.

Developer

Yes i think it could've been better if i could add some music but thanks for playing and your feedback :)

I liked the sounds and the clean look. The first exit was hard to trigger for some reason but the rest weren't. I think I got through the whole thing without using the charge mechanic...did I break it? Reminds me a bit of Thomas was alone. Overall a clean entry good job

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it :). i really suck at designing a levels, and also i make the levels 3 hours before the jam was over so i think this is really important to me to make a levels earlier.

I like this, the concept is smart and really makes you think. I like the jump sound effect, though some background music would be nice.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I'll add the music after the game jam over :)
