Juuust finished mine, first devlog I've ever done, looking for feedback:

I  don't even know what to say. Fantastic work. Really really impressive.

A little unforgiving, but I really like the visual style  you've got going on!

Really cool! That  interactive intro/tutorial at the beginning is super slick. Really impressive.

Nicely made game! Loved the animation you made for the bouncing, really clever.

Thanks! I know the overworld is sort of mundane, but that's because I was really focusing on trying to make the character designs out of the art pack. Like how your character has a mouse for a head, and has a shield for an eye. And yeah, sorry about getting stuck at the beginning, I really wish I'd had time to make that more clear...

That was great! Neat puzzles, really surprised I haven't seen something use this idea before. And great job building on the concept by introducing different units! Really impressive!

Really impressive! There's a lot of game here and it's all really nicely put together and well polished. Super great job!

As others have said, I found it a bit overwhelming at first. But I'm impressed with the amount of content you had!

Fun game! Really love how creative you were with the assets!

Not totally sure what was going on, but the game was very stylish!

Once I got the hang of it I had a lot of fun! You definitely found a neat idea.

After you talk to the guard, you have go back to your dad and talk about safety, by selecting the second option in the panel the opens up when you interact with characters.

Cute game. I couldn't figure out how to do the turbo mentioned in the instructions, and I think the bombs weren't working in the third level. Really enjoyed the ending though!

I found some of the platforming a bit too precise. Really pretty use of the assets though, and great polish!

Where did you get stuck? There are some parts that are a little unclear because of the time constraints.

That's a huge milestone for you then! Congratulations!

I don't think the spiders do damage. But what a bop though.

Surprised you were able to get so much done! The battles started to feel a little samey, but I feel like you were able to put together a great combat system. And the level of polish with all the animations was impressive as well!

Really glad someone used the deck of cards! This idea is so neat, I'd love to see it fleshed out into something bigger and better!

Cool game! Really impressed with the level of polish! Seconding what others said about the difficulty though. But I love experimental jam games like this!

Short and sweet! I feel like the game had some cool ideas, delivered on them well, and then ended on a high note! "ok go now".

Neat game! It took me a little bit to understand what was gong on, but I think I got it. I was a little confused by how the ships follow your crosshair movement exactly, it made me think I was missing something (like I'd have a reason to draw a non-direct path at some point). I'm impressed with how many recipes you got in though.

This is SUPER impressive for a jam game! Played it for longer than I care to admit, great concept AND great execution.

This is super inventive and clever! Just the sort of game I like to see come out of game jams, something novel and unique that I'd love to see get expanded upon. Great sense of visual style too! :)

This was fun, and I really enjoyed how a long combo led to a long chain of "Oof"s, right on beat. Super funny.

Neat game! At first I was a little confused by the mechanics, having them explained somewhere in the game would've been helpful. I also thought collecting the fuel from the UFOs was them using some kind of seeking missile attack at first lol, but once I figured it out I had a fun time trying it out!

Really nice job on getting something so visually appealing done under such time constraints! Your game leverages its simplicity very well in a lot of ways I think.

Yeah text screens were very last minute lol. Good catch on those other issues. And congrats on the hi-score!

Yeah, sorry, I realized there was a bug right after I ran out of time to keep working on it lol. You can refresh the browser page and it should work though.

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, I wish I could have found a way to make it more challenging lol

Oh hey I made this, neat.

Completed: Basic in-game talking functionality, completed the mesh for my one custom model, mapped out the three levels and puzzles.

Random Game Idea: "A role-playing game where you beg for forgiveness from the least interesting imperfect floaters."
Title: Corrections Facility
Idea: You play the role of a young delinquent, and have been sentenced to spend a number of days at behavioral correction facility, run by drones. Your goal is to trick the drones into letting you leave early each day by exploiting fundamental errors in their code.
