How much time was taken?
5:50 - under 3 hours for 2 builds (didn't have time to do last stretch)

Use of theme?
Chain Reaction - loosely, it's a chain that reacts to things ;)

Negative Feedback Loop - hitting asteroids harder spawns chain links, but the more chain links you have the harder it is to hit. Should find equilibrium.

Novel Twist on a Classic Game - asteroids with chain physics, dunno how novel that is

Nice idea with the chains :D Also, cool asteroids
I found it a little tricky to pick up the links; maybe there could be some magnetism that would pull the links towards the ship when you get close to them
Also, you could vary the number of links dropped depending on the size of the asteroid

Pretty cool game for the time taken to make it and for the themes Nice

This is super inventive and clever! Just the sort of game I like to see come out of game jams, something novel and unique that I'd love to see get expanded upon. Great sense of visual style too! :)

Chain reaction?  I guess we can go with that lol The game is fun, physics, destructibles, what not to like right?  Seriously, lots of good stuff here, I do wish that there was something besides getting more links though, just a thought, maybe having glowing crystals that you need to collect?

I tried the first build, and now this: it looks like a completely different game. I like the look of the game, very attractive.

I find it a little difficult to check the chain. But if you think about it, it conveys the idea of the "space miner" well.

I'm blown away by the improvement in this games graphics from build 1 to now. This is a pretty neat mashup, I do approve. 10/10

Very cool idea. It's found to fling your wrecking ball around.

And also very cool graphics. I think this mechanic has potential for a fun arcade-type game.

Great game!  Really novel approach to asterorids, and I really liked the mechanics of having to wind up the ball to hit harder.

Hi!
It's a pretty nice game and a unique concept. I really like the graphics. But it physically hurt my fingers trying to swing the chain when it got too big lmao.

very nice to play :)

Wow! This is so good! Add some progression to it and you can easily make a really fun game!

so at this point my chain was literally off the screen... I really enjoyed the game - probably played for longer than I should've given that I'm currently at work ;) visual polish is really nice, though would've been good to add some music! Not the end of the world, though ☺️ good job!
