Game is fun, but feels really slippery and clunky. Not being able to move when you shoot is very hard to get used to. Honestly, it is fun though.

Didn't get used to the controls. Nice concept, though. Check ours: https://cerosware.itch.io/one-stick-shooter

Great one! I really liked the idea of replenishing your single. I have to say, though, that the game feels quite slow and slippery.

Such an unique idea, taking hit to recharge the weapon, add some sound effect would be perfect!!

Oh I really liked the transforming idea!  After the jam work and balance it some more, you can do a lot of fun level mechanics with the ball idea.  For example, make the ball bouncy for fun, or rolling ramps to clear large gaps~ if you have time, please check out  https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/461493 you can watch the trailer if you don't have  time to play~

Nice concept, very cool.

I love your art style and environments making. Since in the limited time, I saw great potential in your game. Looking forward to your next game! (•̀ᴗ•́) و ̑̑

I really like the transforming of your main character.

I liked the delays when switching between ball form and normal form, the moment of vulnerability makes for intense moments. I do feel like ball form is too powerful (being able to push enemies around and be invulnerable). Also the controls feel quite floaty, making it feel a bit unwieldy,  I think it would benefit with better use of gravity.

Good job for this jam, keep it up!

The design is great. I love the fact that rocks can fall down over time and the poison water slowly comes in. I did not figure out how to jump in ball form though...so I died. But all in all it is great.

The controls and animations speeds are bit frustrating but overall an interesting take on the theme. I didn't get very far and I feel like maybe the spawning algorithm is a bit harsh but it seems like maybe it's possible with enough luck and some weird tricks

Is this possible to beat? I'm honestly curious.
