It's an excellent game, very original and definitely brought back memories; to that time when I didn't know how to play minesweeper and pressed the squares like a fool until I detonated a bomb. The game jam theme isn't as obvious as other games, and it depends a lot on the player knowing the original minesweeper, but it's still a great game. Good job.

Thank you!

Probably my favorite submission this jam :D

Neat idea. Started off too easy, then suddenly got really hard at level 12 and I couldn't get any further

Thanks for the feedback!

Although I'm not good at either rubik's cube or minesweeper, I really like the idea of combining them together. And the visual presentation is sick as well with the scrolling control and cubes falling into the pit on the lower half of the screen and stuff. Great job.

Thank you for playing our game and thanks for the feedback!!

As an average Rubik's cube enjoyer, I like this game. Seriously though, the game is really well polished and it's pretty cool to have an endless mode and a sandbox mode! The only downside for me is that the controls feel a bit unresponsive at times, i'ts hard to pick which side you want to rotate and the camera is a little weird sometimes, but for a game jam, it's great!

Really cool! I really love Rubik's Cubes and this was a fun challenge! The controls we a little bit difficult to wrap my head around, but otherwise very fun! I am not sure this is possible but it would be really cool to make a sticker set for a real cube where you can have multiple solutions!

Developer(+1)

That's a gooood idea of making a real thing to control, lets see if we can work it out in the future LOL! We are also trying to make this game work in VR or AR!

That sounds really cool. Good luck!

That was great! I love minesweeper and it is such an interesting approach on the topic. It was just hard for me to select the cubes I want to turn.

Played on stream! See the video for timestamp.

Thank you so much for playing on stream!!

I like the idea, but I'm not good at Rubik's cubes, so I only finished the first five.

Also the stripey effect across the screen made me worry that my monitor was having issues.  (Other than that, the graphics are good.)

I really like the idea! I think that it's a bit hard to turn the side that you want. I also think that you should be able to rotate the cube in any way you like. The puzzles are really good, so well done!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback and thank you for playing!

Nice Concept

The controlls were a little iffy - its hard to say if it will turn the way you want

Developer

We are working on it and we will update the controls in the future version! Thanks for the feedback!

Be sure to check out my game before the time is up!

Developer

Yeah, I played your game before, and it's a cool idea. I bet you will make it an awesome game if you have more time!

Yo this is such a nice concept, and well thought out! I am not a rubiks cube player so I struggled at first, but after getting some pointers about the numbers' orientation, I breezed through until level 11! It was so nice! Good job on this game, the visuals, audio, and gameplay are all awesome!

Developer

Thank you Yuuni!!!

i love minesweeper and rubik's cubes so this is perfect for me! incredibly creative concept, and the puzzles are challenging yet fun to solve. after playing for a while and getting to level 16 my brain hurts and i can definetely not go further without losing sanity, and just looking at what you can do in sandbox mode gives me a headache (doing this with 4 bombs or on a 5x5 sounds like pain lol), but i absolutely loved the experience :)

Developer(+1)

We are so glad to hear that LOL! Sorry for the headache and thank you for playing!

Too hard for me but still a very good game

Developer

Thank you!!

Very unique concept, but I found it difficult to correctly target the right row/column to rotate.

This is my kind of game! I love solving rubiks cubes and minesweeper.  Manipulating a cube with a mouse is obviously more challenging than with your hands, but I think you found a really great way to do it!  I wasn't always sure which face was going to turn, I can see that the blocks that will turn move a little outward.  I think with just a tad more feedback on that this makes for a really great game!

Developer

Thank you Matt!!

Minesweeper but rubrics cube, I feel first few levels I am able to spam click to solve,  and then I have to think. Overall I love the idea of the game, it is definitely very creative and unique. I love how polished and the smooth transition and animation that the game presents.  I think the music can be improved but sound is good. I feel maybe having more game mechanics will be good, like maybe I have a time limit that makes me have to solve this cube quickly, or something that keeps my toes up. Overall, I love how you guys come up with this idea and I think this game is very good and chill, taking time to solve this rubrics cube but minesweeper.

Developer(+1)

We highly appreciate those great ideas! Thanks a lot!

I love the idea, and it's really well presented! The controls seemed very simple at first, but I quickly got frustrated by not knowing whether the scroll wheel would rotate vertically or horizontally, so I think some visual indication of that on screen would be really helpful!

Thank you for the feedback! We are working on it!

Nostalgic and interesting concept!
