Just incredible. I probably don't have anything new to add that others haven't already said but extremely good for a jam game. I can see myself playing this on my phone right now

Simple but addictive. I can see this being a game on my phone that I play on the bus or train.

Never thought that stopping a timer could be made into a gameplay mechanic like this. Though unlike Balatro, this might be too reaction dependent to be truly as popular. The art and the sound were simple but fit the game. Overall, a very solid jam game that could easily be spun into a full game with more content and polish

That was cute! Thanks for making it easier for people like me who can't play rhythm games very well. Probably the most polished out of all the polished games in the jam

Wow. How'd you even come up with this and then manage to make it within 4 days? I really like the overarching plot with the fights. You could expand this out into its own short horror game with this set-up. Very well done, one of the best in the jam even if the gameplay isn't as engaging personally

A fine top-down-shooter. Very simple but clear presentation and a gameplay that's easy to pick and play. Though I do think that the time limit is a little too strict

Decent core idea but the lack of variety in the requests hurts the gameplay. It was probably due to a lack of time but a different set of maps to take photos in would be nice. Still, the art is nice to look at and it's a unique enough game in the jam

Very cute and simple but fun gameplay. Nicely done

You found a good variety of ways to expand on the initial gimmick. Well done. The art is simple but polished too

Wow this was made in RPGmaker? In any case, very polished and creative especially since the core gameplay is so simple at its core

Extremely polished from the art to the music. That said, I think the game rn is too frustrating to play for me to enjoy a lot though I will say that I typically steer clear of platformers. The inability to attack upwards felts annoying and sometimes the bat enemy would get stuck in me and deal damage without me being able to avoid it. The fact that its not clear at first how to proceed is I think intentional but it just seems a tad frustrating right now. Great work though for just 4 days

I really like it. A short and simple text based adventure game stands out a lot in this jam. If you wanted to expand on this idea, making a visual branching tree would help as well as developing the clues you get would help a lot I think. One minor pet peeve I had though was the fact that it was possible to accidentally make a choice since there is no prior warning when a choice suddenly appears and sometimes I was just clicking on the villagers randomly and accidentally made a choice. Minor nitpick though

It's probably loading in a load bearing script and assets for the first time or something. I dunno man, the code for this project is a mess

Cool interpretation of the theme though the instructions for each of the different gimmicks for the level could have been better explained. I would have also spent a bit more time ensuring that your UI didn't look so out of place in the game itself like the hose and also providing more visual feedback for player actions. Overall, this was a decent attempt

Theme was tenuous I feel but that's no big deal. Art and music was polished and the gameplay was fun simplified version of chess.

Very polished especially for a jam game. The gameplay is simple but it implements the theme well and it has a layer of cool strategy to it

Really cool art and execution of a simple idea. For such a short experience, it's very well polished and easy to pick up and play.

That's a lot of content for such a short period of time. Well done. The gameplay was simple but engaging though  felt that some effects could have been explained better

Wonderfully silly

Fun idea. Could be made better if there were more attacks you could do on subsequent loops

Made me wish I had thought of this idea first. Well done though I wish there was a pause button

Polished and fun

Movement felt very good. The gameplay was difficult to get right at first but when I did it, it was very satisfying

(1 edit)

I like the idea. Very simple but fun

I respect what you trying to go for but without more concrete view of how our actions by reporting the news is affecting the world, the game just isn't as enjoyable

Funny idea. Probably won't be for everyone though

Haven't seen an endless runner yet. Well done

Basic puzzle platformer. Decent if a little unimaginative

Adorable

Seems like a really basic racing/driving game. Not a bad one though

I don't usually play puzzle games but this one was pretty cool.

Very cool concept and execution. Having to mult-task dodging the bullets and attacking made it fun

Perfect vampire survivor-like. The ability to control when everything fires off is nice as is the ability to actually choose what weapons you get

Cool take on the theme. You could get meta with the concept if you decide to make this into a full game

Killing myself has never been more fun. Camera clips into objects a little too much though

Nice interpretation of the theme but movement was a little too imprecise for my taste

Nice concept. That said, I think it could've been executed better by maybe letting the player select what upgrades to get and giving the boss more interesting attacks. Also, the UI gets in the way of selecting the special attacks and the audio is a little crunchy

Difficult in all the right ways. I like how weighty the plane feels

I couldn't even really play it unfortunately. A small window of text explaining the controls and objective better would've made the experience more playable

It's too real
