A really fun concept! I struggled to wrap my head around the tutorial at first, but it all clicked when I started playing. Finding the right balance between shooting nemies and blocking their bullets was a really neat gameplay angle - and shooting yourself to reposition was just a delightful idea. Love how chaotic the later levels get too!

How does your game fit the theme?
The role in a typical top-down shooter has been reversed. Instead of controlling the gun and main character, you only control the bullet that they fire from the gun.

A very nice and fun game! Good idea nad use of the theme. GJ!
This is a pretty good game, good job! My main complaint is that the presentation was a little confusing to understand. The tutorial was a bit lengthy and I think you could've found better ways to teach the player the primary game mechanics. Some enemies weren't introduced until later and there could've been separate levels to teach enemy mechanics. However, with the time constraints of the jam I can somewhat look past this.
The difficulty did also ramp up a bit too fast and overwhelmed me a bit in some places, but thanks to the x10 lives I was able to clear the entire game! For future projects, I would suggest creating a much slower difficulty curve and having more difficult levels much closer to the end.
I do like the idea of re-directing bullets that are not controlled by you, that creates a micromanagement type gameplay that is quite interesting and can be explored in a variety of ways. Personally, I would've loved to see the player ramp up in the number of bullets they're firing or fire different types of bullets. This would make the bullet redirection a lot less straight-forward and create different gameplay scenarios.
Overall though, a good submission! The gameplay and presentation just needs a lot more polish and development time, but the core concept is solid! I enjoyed this. Good luck on the jam :)
good job! Add some sound effects and it will make it much better!
oh! and I like that funky dungeon idiot, hehe! it's me right? haha!
Really cool game! The idea is really cool, and the addition of a time slow whenever you click on a bullet really helps you to plan out your next move. The different kinds of enemies are cool too. Great job!
Don't be deceived by the humble graphics, this game actually has a really cool concept behind it.
The idea of controlling your bullet(s) has been explored several times in this jam but I especially like this take for the simple reason that to move you must control your bullets into yourself. This suddenly creates an interesting decision to be made with every shot. Combine this with being able to redirect each projectile several times and I think it makes for an excellent basis for a game.
Oh and the music fits perfectly to, really enjoyed this game!
There is a good concept there! Mechanically it's quite dynamic and fun, and having the bullets also move the player is certainly a great idea to add depth!
To make the game more interesting it could have some difficulty progression, enemies appearing faster and faster, and a score tally for players to compete against each other :) Even, with more time, slower enemies but needing two or three bullets to die.
48 hours is not enough time either, so, good job!
This is a pretty interesting idea. Using the bullet to not only attack but move the player is really different. Def one of the most unique role reversals I've seen so far!
the art style is very goofy and creative. The game felt awkward to control at first, but it didn't take me long to get the hang of it. The game is really difficult but also fun, I like how you cant move the player directly, rather you have to push him using his own bullets.
Very neat idea! Tricky to control at times, maybe some way to trigger a slow down to let you select the next bullet would help but I'm not sure (beyond the slow down that happens after clicking a bullet). Nicely done :)
Amazing game. I really loved it, you should be proud with this as your first solo game. (Its ∞ times beter then my first solo game.) the art is simple, wacky and fits the game really well, and the game it self is also really good. with slomotion, different enemy's and my favorite is that you can hit yourself to move the player. Actually one of the beter games from the jam. and the menu music is amazing!
Great game. Keep it up♥
Great concept and great execution, I had a lot of fun playing the game. The art is definitely cute as it reminds me of myself as a kid, but the gameplay is SO good! Very fun and every level is unique so it doesn't feel repetitive, great game design!
Great job on the game! It's a shame that it's not playable in a browser, as it deserves more visibility. I had a lot of fun playing it. Good job!
Damn dude u should be proud! It's kinda rough not publishing it as playable from a browser, since a lot of people won't take the time to download. I had a lot of fun with this, moving the guy out of the way while in slo-mo is really satisfying!
The art is simple but it's consistent. The controls are good and it's fun to play. Dodging is very hard because you kind of need a perfect lineup for it but blocking enemy bullets with your own is very cool. Great work and a very fun game.
