Great graphics; love the sound effects. There could have been music, and the UI prompts seem to persist longer than necessary. I didn't really understand what playing as the thief added to the gameplay. Also would have been nice if I had the option to advance time when finished with my day/night.
STILL a better farming sim than the GameCube version of Harvest Moon.

Thanks for playing, there actually is music, maybe you had the music turned down, I'd love to ask why you rated so low on creativity? I thought the game was quite original compared to other entries in the jam, and yeah the UI is a bit buggy but it's an easy fix. I couldn't implement skipping day/night because of the time constraint.
Thanks for playing
You shouldn't be rating creativity compared to already made games outside the jam... I rated games based off other entries, I find it quite unfair that I got such a low score even though there was basically no other games with our concept, but to each their own.
Thanks anyway
I agree with you on the whole "As game developers we accept criticisms that we may feel is unfair". That's very true! But I think in game jams we shouldn't be comparing the games to ones already made, there's many Flappy Bird games where you're the pipe instead, I still didn't compare them to Flappy Bird (which is a game that took ages to make probably), that's why I thought it's unfair, I love criticism and comments that give feedback to my games because they help me update the game further on and become a better developer!
I'm glad you thought our presentation was good though, and you don't really have to ask for my permission haha, I hope the post jam update would change your mind about the game, I have high hopes and many ideas for the game, (Also many bug fixes people mentioned). I'd love to show you what the game will develop to, and I hope you'll enjoy the updated version much more!
I'm glad you gave an honest review because I'd rather have that than have people just give me a score and not tell me why, so I'd rather have people rate my game in the way they want and give feedback so I can improve it later on!
Again thanks for playing, (for the follow and the compliments too)!
Lots of potential here, hope you get the feedback you're looking for to decide if you will pursue this idea.
I definitely will! I have many ideas for this game, thanks for playing!
This is a really solid entry, well done. Well within scope for a 48h jam, it took me a while to figure it all out, so maybe I'd suggest adding a more clear difference between healthy crops and rotten crops. Perhaps leave the flies on or add a skull icon on top of them. I had serious overcooked vibes, this could be a funny multiplayer ! Well done, thank you for submitting, loved it !
Thank you for the nice comment and the great suggestion for dead crops! I'll definitely polish up the game more after the jam :D
Thanks for playing!
Incredible effort for a jam! Art is fantastic, I tought it was difficult to understand what to do at the beginning but I learned it very quickly! Want to see more different security system added in the full game! Good luck team!!!
Thanks! I'll hopefully add one after the game jam :D
You can follow my itch to see progress on the game, thank you for playing!
The art is amazing, very ambitious to make a 3D game for a game jam, and in this case, it worked!
Gameplay wise a tutorial/tooltips would be great, though the description of the page is well written, and if you read it once, the game feels super natural :)
I like the idea of switching the role of the farmer, to one of the thieve, but I would probably change the narrative a bit:
Customers are too demanding, and the poor farmer has to steal other farmers' crops during the night to make their shipment. This could be an awesome narrative, and highlight the difficulties of being a farmer. Especially the cute article could be a good contrast to a darker narrative.
All in all, really happy you made this game, and am looking forward to a full release in the future, if there will be one :D
Thanks for the compliments :D
I'm really glad you found it easy to understand, I also tried my best with keeping the itch page clear using pictures and short paragraphs, it's very under appreciated haha.
I can agree with you on the thief part, most people said the same thing about that role, but not the demanding part that's interesting. I wanted the thief role to be a stealth game similar to "Stealth Master" on mobile where you dodge cameras and such.
I'm really happy you liked the game, thank you so much for playing and for the great feedback! :D
Fun game, great art and sound too! Wish that the "theif" mechanic was expanded a bit more, maybe something like higher risk = higher reward: breaking into the farm, more ways to sabotage, etc (because imo the 30% chance for corruption doesn't kick that hard). With that being said, this was a good game with a unique interpretation on the theme, really enjoyed this one!
That's exactly what the role was supposed to be! You nailed it, I wanted to make it a stealth game where you avoid cameras and getting caught, for a big reward if you sabotage. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to implement all of those ideas but I definitely will after the jam!
Thanks for playing :D
Super cool idea. Love the UI and graphics. Very Cozy :)
Thank you for playing! :D
Haha we had somewhat similar ideas but you executed it so much better! Nice job.
Thanks!
Always love to play farming game, love simplistic art style, however, the movement speed is a bit slow, and the twist that the night you sabotage seems to just inconvenience yourself and serve no purpose(?
You can run using Left Shift! Also for now the sabotaging is a gamble, you can gain points but risk a 30% chance that your crop rots, if it doesn't you can just wash it and harvest it the next day. Hope this clears things up!
Thanks for the compliments, and for playing! :D
I see, It makes much more sense now!
Glad to help, thanks for playing!
Love the thought and effort that went into this! One thing I found weird is that there's a sprint button, is there a reason we can't always move at that speed? Overall, really good concept and great execution!
There's supposed to be stamina but I couldn't implement it LOL, but for now you can run infinitely which is nice but breaks your finger haha.
Thanks for playing!
This is a neat game. I like the toon-shaded art-style and the concept is unique. I like how you can risk losing some crops to get extra points as the thief. It was also really smart to make the night much shorter than the day because there isn't as much stuff to do. Unfortunately, the gameplay does feel a bit bland. I think it could help if it were a little more fast-paced or there was a little more potential strategy. But I completely understand how that can be hard to do in only 48 hours. Overall, good job!
Also, how the heck did you get 60 ratings on a download only game? Please teach me your secrets Lol.
Thank you for the feedback, what can you suggest to make it feel less bland? Do you think a shop with upgrades can help? Maybe "Grow crops faster for (bla bla)". If you could please elaborate more on that it would be great because I'm planning on updating the game later with my team and hopefully have as many quality of life improvements for the game while also making it much more fun!
I have no idea, I played 75 games (so far), rated them and gave feedback, some took their time and played mine back. Maybe also the screenshots of the game play a bit of a role in making people interested? I'm not really sure haha
Either way I really appreciate that you took your time to give some feedback, I'd love to hear all about it! Thank you for playing :D
I think the biggest improvements would be reducing down time running between crops and customers/waiting for night. You could also try adding some more strategy depth with crops acting differently and upgrades and stuff.
I agree, thanks for the suggestions!
Nice premise! I love how you have to carefully choose which crops to sabotage so you can still maximize on selling to customers. Great job! 😃
Thank you! Glad to hear some people liked that mechanic :D
Thanks for playing!
The game is cool and very enjoyable and the art was nice. Really good concept and polish,
, nice use of the theme. :D
Thank you for all the compliments :D
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for playing!
I rather enjoyed it! I found it a bit difficult at first but then I got the hang of it. I rather liked the art style, the only thing missing from this game is animations but all in all, Well Done!
Thank you! Maybe we can add animations after the game jam, thanks for the feedback!
Glad you enjoyed the game, thanks for playing!
You’re Welcome!
This is one of those games that is really good but tough for a game jam as it has a lot going on. Really cool ideas. I had more fun as the thief. Felt like I was playing against my farmer self. haha. Cute art. The movement should be faster. Original cool game with potential
Thank you! Sorry you didn't like the movement, were you pressing Left Shift? It allows you to run, I couldn't implement a tutorial in time but I explained the game on the game's itch page. Hope this helps, I'm glad you liked being a thief as most people preferred being the farmer so that's good to hear haha.
Thank you for playing!
Read it but missed that. Bad reader. It was a little slow but overall still good enough movement. Fun game regardless
Thanks! Glad you liked it :D
Lots done for so little time! I wish there were instructions, because there was a lot of guessing, and I still don't know how all the game mechanics work, but from what I do understand, it was very fun. There were a few bugs, primarily with the planting UI, but besides that very well done. Some indicator for when you can pull up a crop would be great, because many times the plants would reach their final stage visually, and I couldn't pull them up. Great job, keep it up! Oh, and also if you added points for planting bugs with no limit for how many you could plant might lead to some interesting crop management.
Thank you, I thought I added enough info in the itch page but I guess not, I couldn't add a tutorial in time sadly haha.
I'll fix the UI bugs after the game jam, I'm aware of them but I couldn't fix then in time (sorry).
I'll add an indicator/particle that shows when a plant is ready to harvest, thanks for the suggestion!
You get 3 insects every night so you can save them up for the next one if you felt like it! I'll expand on the thief's role and give him more ways to sabotage, while also keeping it balanced and rewarding at the same time, hopefully this cleared some things up!
If you'd like to play the game after the game jam you can follow me on itch to keep up with its future updates!
Thanks for playing and for the great feedback :D
You're welcome! I'm excited to see where this goes!
This looks and feels amazing for a jam game, and I can really imagine the thief working great in a multiplayer scenario!
Hopefully we can implement that in the future! Maybe it could be a game to play with friends and mess with them for fun haha
Thanks for playing!
The art was really awesome for this style of game! I found it pretty relaxing and figuring out what to plant in order to sell the best. I was confused on the theif role and didn't really use it at all but I see from the other comments that it just wasn't fully done. Would love to see it completed! Good luck!
Thank you for the compliment about the art, our artist really did a great job I agree. Thank you for playing the game!
The game art looked very well and the game was relaxing and fun but as the thief why would I want to kill my plants if I win selling them? i could just do nothing as the thief so my crops were still collectable and then selling them. but the game idea was great and the game was relaxing and with satisfying sounds. Well done!
Hopefully I'll expand on the thief part after the game jam and have it be more rewarding for the player to sabotage their own crops, it's supposed to be a strategic and a gamble at the same time where u can either risk taking the chance for some extra points, or just skip it.
Thank you, I tried to have nice and satisfying SFX for every action haha, glad you liked it. Thanks for playing!
What you managed to create is pretty good. I thinks it needs something more for the thief role, cause I didn't know why should I sabotage the plants. And also I think it needs money and price for the plants to make it more engaging. Other than that I think you did a great job !
Maybe I'll add money after the game jam ends, thanks for the suggestion! I'll expand on the thief role too.
Thanks for playing!
