thanks for playing. when making this, part of me wanted to simulate the emotional process of writing a poem. other parts of me just wanna get lost in the thoughts. and only if lucky (or working hard) enough, I/the player will sort it out and gain a clear whole sight. it was a kinda intuitive and improvisational design process. glad you liked it and good to know some of the designs turned out well:)

btw just checked out the Small Worlds game surprising to find out how a similar idea is couduct so uniquely and elegantly more than 10yrs ago

耶!确实是我想表达的感觉,感谢游玩:D

Thanks for playing! Yeah I've always been a big fan of minimalism. So glad to hear that you think certain elements work just fine. Maybe gameplay can be improved to be of more fun tho..I remember you from the mosquito game of LD52. Loved it a lot :)

thanks for playing! yeah maybe Sisyphus would have developed easier ways for him to lift the boulder to a certain height as the science and technology march in modern days. fun to think about.

thanks!

I got this feeling that this game defines a set of clear rules and then the game designer and player complete it together. This is fun. Great pixel art and music choice too. Love it.

Thanks for playing! I kinda wanna keep the feeling of dullness and futility from the original Sisyphus' story. Maybe there's a smarter way in game design to convey this idea and make the game fun to play at the same time..It's interesting to think about it already. Updates might be coming post jam!

Ah the good old warioware days..The gameplay and visuals match up well, presenting a not-so-polished yet self-consistent and compelling vibe (kinda like warioware). Would love to see more minigames, a clearer visual instruction on when and where to click as well as juicier feedbacks.

Glad you like it! When designing those tiny details I was picturing classic comedy cartoons like Tom&Jerry in my mind. It feels good the idea of it can be conveyed successfully even though the pixel art is kinda abstract. And I was a little worried about the difficulty rise is too obscure to be noticed. Good to know they work fine. Thanks for playing.

And the shaking element increase the juiciness as well! One design providing multiple meaningful consequences. There's some elegence in it. And I surely agree with the "designing a game is like solving a puzzle" statement. Enjoy the process!
