Nice base for turn-based combat -> I would welcome more feedback (if I won or not -> what I got new in inventory) + I had a weird view -> the game was cut from sides, so I almost could see the first die..

Other than that fun little combat game :)

A little hard for me to understand. Most of time, I just click the dice and restart.

Cool & neat concept, a great foundation for a unique turn-based battles. The presentation need works, just to improve readability & feedback to the players so they know what they are doing. Other than that, really nice job! Keep up the good work!

Interesting game! It was cool to have different abilities other than just damage tied to each dice! In some ways, the combat reminds me of Pokemon - if you had little animations on the characters it would've felt even more that way!

There are some 'small' things I think you can do with this game to make it a lot better. The first one is a victor or defeat screen. I never knew if I had one a fight or lost a fight. I assumed I won when I got a new dice, but that was the only way for me to tell. Along those same lines, if you split up the text box in the middle that gave you an update on what the attack did into your text box and an enemy text box, that would help! Sometimes the text disappeared before I read it or I wasn't sure if it was my turn or not (e.g., when an enemy was frozen vs when I was frozen). By doing those two things, the quality of your game will improve a lot.

Overall though, very nicely done! Cool to see the different abilities in there and an AI that was able to utilize them as well. Good job fitting the theme and making an entertaining game!

Thank you so much for the feedback! We made a patched version of the game that we will post after the jam that addresses your concerns. We're glad you enjoyed it!

This is a pretty fun turn based combat game! I like how you allow the player to modify their strategy by using different dice. The biggest issue is the lack of a win/loss screen, because I would never know if I won or lost. It'd also be nice to know who's turn it was at any moment, because most of the time I was just mashing the die symbols without knowing if it were my turn or the enemies. Just a little more general feedback for the player would go a long way. The music/art were great, so with a little more polish I think this could be a solid turn based adventurer. Good job!

Oh, I never even realised when I was playing there were more types of enemies and dice, I guess I kept dying lol! Fun concept, but I'd definitely add a win/loss screen, because I could never tell if I was winning or losing on the last hits.

I liked playing around with which dice were in my loadout. I think a little extra feedback on the dice rolls would go a long way, and as others have pointed out a bit of delay at the end of the battles would clear up what the outcome was. Great job on the submission!

Really nice turn based combat game. You've got a lot of different kinds of dice to add to your team which is great. One thing to improve on if you continue this post jam could be adding in some victory or defeat screens based on the battle result since people tend to be confused when you just boot them back out towards the menu

Sprite work is good, although dice aren't the best looking. It is kinda hard to understand what is going on most of the time, so you nailed the jrpg sense of "what am i supposed to do". Making an rpg in such short amount of time is very hard, so no problem with that. Presentation should get an upgrade, i could suggest having some feedback as in sfx in battle as well as simple animations.

A silly little RPG, which is always nice to see! The visual presentation could use some work, the art itself is good, but the way it's presented (such as positioning in the menus and stuff) is cluttered and out of place. I like the retro sounds to it all.

I might have just gotten a bit unlucky, but I seemed to die(hehe) quite a bit and didn't quite understand why? Overall, pretty good!

I was pretty confused, but I think I get it now. The presentation seems like it could be improved, but that's pretty expected of a jam game. Nice work!

A very good strategy game ! Good job !

It was a bit confusing at first, but I get it now! Great concept, don't see turn-based games very often. Do some polishing post-jam, add more elements to the game, and keep up the good work :)

It felt pretty confusing, I didn't really know what I was doing. Most of the time I'm just clicking and then brought back to the main menu. Maybe I'm just being stupid though.

Good job on the game! I had some issues with trying to switch out my dice slots but it this is still a really neat concept, awesome! -Kaylee

I'm not sure if I did anything wrong, but I seem to keep defeating the first enemy and then get booted back to the main menu screen. The game also lacks in player feedback a lot I feel, so I'm not entirely sure what I am supposed to do other than roll the dice. Creative use of the theme though, the game could just use a bit more polish.

Cool idea! I really love the art style - its super cute! The game itself is good, I like the concept but some instructions and feedback for the player would go a long way in making it feel better to play. Good job!
