This game looks really great!

A lot of RNG, but you have a little but of tactics with the reroll option and the shop.

The game fits the theme very well.

Impressively polish presentation !
I was so happy when I realize I could jump again and reroll the number dice if I wasn't happy with it. This adds reflexes to the randomness and gives a bit of control.
The -1 on the number for each reroll is also cool.

Very cool game ! A bit too random for my taste still ;)

Nice presentation, the pixel art looks fantastic. Not much of a fan of the 8-Bit music though. Gameplay is alright, but pretty frustrating at times. The healers are super annoying, because they heal each enemy every round and you can't effectively deal with them, because you are dependent on a good roll. If you don't get enough damage in like 2 rounds in a row, they are fully healed. Of course, this is complaining at a high level, so for a game jam game, it's pretty good!

On another note, I found a bug: if you jump while the transition between the two dices, you actually roll the first dice again and you can get a different number if you time it right.

This is one of the most polished games I've played in this jam. Great visuals and concept 👌

What the hell, this looks really well-polished, fun & neat concept. Presentation looks good too, really excellent job!

One thing that I notice though, seems like getting a STR+ for just one turn is doing nothing, coz the turn is up anyway....

game looks super good, but the fights feel as if they take forever since you have to reroll constantly each turn.

Pixel art is top notch

great little game loved the concept and music also.

Pleasant and relaxed adventures of a knight who, like Mario, loves to bang his head against square objects! Simple and cool mechanics)

P.S.: It would be very cool if everyone who sees this message would go and honestly evaluate our game. Because we have already rated over 150+ and continue to do so, and our game has only 44 ratings...

The graphics, the animations and the audio are all really good! Gameplay-wise, it needs some tweaks. My first fight took forever, since the enemy never attacked me, just healed themself into infinity and I barely managed to roll attacks, only when the dice had a value of 1 or 2. Unlucky, I guess, but it didn’T feel good that I’m trapped and can not do anything about it.

The art and audio were perfect. Nice that you can hit a dice while the transition animation. But it feels wrong that both dices bump up but just one of them rolls. Also thought the gameplay was a bit too random.

The pixel art, music, and sound effects are all great! Very intuitive and simple to get into. Feels very polished. I feel like there's a bit too much randomness in combat, but I might only feel that way because I kept rolling low numbers 😅

Nice pixel art, solid mechanics and really polished experience.

Love how you can hit the dice during transition and turn 1 shield into 6 attack :V

Cool game! Lost at the boss. It was really neat that you could reroll the action for a cost of the dice value.

I beat it!

You all did a lot right, so I am going to just mention a few things that went wrong for me.

The most annoying one was going up against 2 of those healer guys, got stuck in an RNG battle with them for 10+ minutes, which was longer than my 2nd run entirely lol.

Speaking of those guys, they basically allow you to reach full health every time you face one because you can just heal infinitely. Maybe make it so they can't appear solo at least, and certainly not as a pair lol.

Also there is a bug where if you don't like your roll you can jump again really quickly to reroll your numbered die. Or maybe it was a feature, like a parry in Dark Souls hahaha.

I didn't get to see much of the upgrades... hit maybe to opportunities for an upgrade each run. That would obviously be solved with additional levels etc, so it might be fine as is. I was powerful enough to beat the boss with the two upgrades I had so whatever

Anyways, great job! Still enjoyed my time!

Such a cool concept! I love the upgrade system letting you influence the dice. The art is great and the moment to moment gamplay is engaging:) I bugged out the number dice during combat a few times because I was spamming and I would suggest not letting the healing enemies spawn by themselves. Because they dont attack I was able to slowly but surely heal to full whenever I encountered them. Aside from that, this is one of the best games ive played in the jam!

Well Done!

The Presentation on this is incredible! I like the ability to reroll at a cost and the chance to change your die faces. I found if you mash the roll button you can roll both at the same time and it doesn't like that very much, and I did accidentally reroll die I wanted to use a little too often haha

Really well made! Not gonna lie, I was expecting a souls-like game, I was not disappointed though. The idea of risking your pips for a new type of move is a neat way to add to the player's decision. Also, probably bug: you can hit both dice at the same time mid-animation, meaning you can reroll the first dice.
